First off, Publix, IN GENERAL, is awesome. Their recipes (for pretty much everything, including desserts, quick to-go meals, subs & hot & ready foods) are awesome! However, this location has left much to be desired on many many occasions. Im from Florida (where Publix started ) & this is sub-par in comparison. I dont know if its bc of being located in GA or the management. I have many family members who either started their working careers or ended them (i.e. retired, with great benefits & stock options, I may add) with Publix, most in Lakeland, FL (where the ORIGINAL Publix opened). But weve literally waited more than 1/2 hr. for subs, when there were only 3 or so ppl b4 us, go to a FL store & theyd taken care of at least 10 customers in that time! Once a worker spent 10 min (the line behind us just getting longer) trying to remove the "paper" from an onion, bc they were out, while customers & co-workers were both telling her to cut the ends off & the "paper" would come off easily, which she replied "I want to use the slicer, so I cant "?! Come on, anyone could CUT it in that time plus u can still use the slicer! Our subs are NEVER as good as other stores, & they act like your a nuisance, sighing, if you ask for a cheese or something they dont have pre-cut! Ive also found a hair in chicken tenders (could happen anywhere, but combined...) & bought foods that were well past expiration! Its simply not up to the same standards as every other Publix weve been, and weve been to tons! Weve even driven to Yulee for subs, bc its that much of a difference! Theres actually too many issues weve experienced to list here. Still love Publix, but this store needs attention!

For 99% of my Camden County shopping, Publix is where I will always go even if it means spending a little bit more (or a lot in some cases). The reason for me is simple; the store is well lit, very clean, shelves are decently stocked and the people who run the place are some of the friendliest I have ever come across. I would like to point out specifically the most excellent Bakery (by way of Athena, Christy and Theodosia) as being the best in the county. The Deli is also incredible as well (thanks to folks like Melissa and Sharon). I joke around with the cashiers nearly every visit and quite honestly, the put up with me and for that, I also give them high marks. All other stores in the county are dark, drab and make me tired so I avoid. TL;DR - This Publix is Good.

Great friendly helpful staff. Me and my 78 yr old mother go shopping there every week. The staff is so friendly the store its always clean and well stocked. Theyre always so patient with my mother she has to use a walker too get around and has very limited eye sight. The staff there is so patient with her if she ask hire much something is they tell her they even go as far as to reading the ingredients of the package to her. Will recommend this store to everyone.

Publix is by far the best grocery store in Camden! The store is always clean (unlike many other local grocery stores), produce is fresh and the staff make it a pleasure shopping there. The folks in the meat department will cut any meats you need with a smile and the gals in the bakery are a pleasure. They accept coupons (store and manufacture can be used together) and will price match any local competitor. Publix is the only grocery store I shop at!

Publix bakery is 5 stars! Everyone goes to the Publix bakery for birthday cakes and fresh food. - Publix is great if you want to run in and get something quick. This is because they never have long lines. The workers open new lanes whenever a lane gets more than 2 or 3 people long. I love this. Wal-Mart never opens new lanes for long lines at check-out. Wal-Mart employees just stand around and talk while you are waiting in a long line.

While the staff is friendly I am having trouble wrapping my head around the why and where they choose to place some things. Yogurt, cottage cheese and ricotta should all be in the same area no? I spent a good long while trying to find ricotta and when I did it was a large tub. Later at check out a clerk got the size I needed. I do not comprehend why the semi solid cheeses need to be separate unless it is a specialty/gourmet cheese.

Whats not to love? The prices are high, but thats how smaller grocery stores with better products stay profitable. The sales are fantastic, however, so if you plan your shopping, you can get better prices than Walmart on superior products. We have *never* had a bad experience and I appreciate the friendly, knowledgeable staff, the uncluttered aisles and wonderful selection of foods. Shopping really is a pleasure at Publix!

Horrible deli. They try to push the expensive meats on you by pretending they have to cut the cheaper ones. You call them on this unethical practice and the management just tries to bride you with free sandwiches. Apparently its real difficult to operate a deli and make honest decisions that best support the customer. They make Subway look like geniuses.

Ill occasionally try another store because they are closer or they have a special on some particular product. Im always disappointed. If produce is important to you, then Publix is the store you need. The produce section is great! The store is always clean and well staffed. The pharmacy is very helpful and inexpensive. I found my store.

First time at a publix, and I was very impressed ! The place was perfectly in order and workers were happily bustling around getting everything caught up. Prices were slightly higher on some things, but the products were higher quality. I got great deals on some healthy stuff you just cant at Wal-Mart. Excellent service as well.

This store is the best place to shop in Camden County. They are the only ones that truly believe in customer service. From finding something to taking you out the door even in the rain. Excellent customer service great place to shop.

Best grocery in town. Clean and friendly. Not always in stock of what I may be looking for though. Still, you can find some great deals with their BOGO and coupons. Our go to shopping here in town.

Grocery store is amazing, but their Deli area is a joke. Theres never enough people working at the counters. If you want a sub, chicken, or deli meat, plan on waiting no less than 10 minutes.
