Good produce section, but store feels junky/dirty. Ice cream counter was closed by health dept, which further caused this feeling. Got an excellent deal on eggs, but realized why when 1 egg was totally and completely rotten, like black yolk surrounded by putrid water rotten...negligent. abt 90% of products are Latin American stuff, so the name is a bit misleading. Prices are good.

This place is dirty, and it smells. The prices are actually expensive compared to other grocery stores. Also the food does not look fresh. It resembled a market in a 3rd world nation, that I visited in central America. I was a totaly afraid to buy meat in this store.

I love Gigante - one of the pluses of living in Milford. Produce selection is always excellent and well priced, and sometimes have amazing dollar deals. Great variety of latin and caribbean foods. Staff is friendly.
