Today I made another trip to Price Chopper on the date 8/25/17. This day my shopping experience was much different than my other trips. I make trips weekly, sometimes even daily. I have shopped at this store since the day it was opened. My experience today began with me, today I was at the deli and or cold cut department part of the establishment. I asked for a pound of D/W grilled honey chicken not too thin. The employee, she in specific started to cut the chicken. I specifically asked I wanted a normal sliced chicken, I did not want the last pieces of the chicken. She then ignored my request and proceeded to close the bag and the employee, she threw the bag of meat right onto the counter in front of me. I told her it is not a pound and she refuse to give me a pound of the meat I asked her. She told me that she " Had" to sell this last piece of meat. She turned around to the employee behind her and asked him if he wanted to serve me, as she made it very clear that she did not want to serve me. The other employee then gave me exactly what I asked for. The other employee who refused to serve me the meat I asked her for her name. She proceeded to turn her name tag around so I could not see her name. I went to a manager and was told it would be taken are of. I am a loyal customer who attends this store frequently for my shopping needs. Never have I been so insulted and treated like a not needed customer. As I feel this is a problem as I was not shown any professionalism as that is something I would expect from another adult. I feel as though I was humiliated and disrespected which was entirely uncalled for and not needed for my simple request as I was denied proper and professional service.

I was pretty excited when the store opened, which turned to disappointment. Before it opened we used to go to ShopRite in Stroudsburg (much improved over the last 10 years) or Wegmans in Easton/Nazareth, so at first we thought it was great we have another high quality Supermarket very close to home. Initially the product selection was incredible, the deli department had Columbus products, which we like but one day it disappeared, when we asked why we were told that it wasnt that popular, so it is being discontinued. Ok... But on top of this the organic stuff initially seem to vanish it also seem that some of the products like dill didnt appear in the store until at least 6 months in... Right now the product selection had much improved dill is regularly available, the organic selection is nice and constant but having a better organic selection in the meats, seafood, dairy, etc will go a long way. The ethnic selection is available but is jumbled together and not a lot of decent products. So overall we dont use it as our main store but get little stuff here and there, still think of ShopRite or Wegmans as our main stores but there is a lot of things that can be done to make it the better option.

Always check the expiration date on EVERYTHING you buy from here. Bought the last 2 whole foods vitamins they were expired. They put them back on the shelf to sell again. Not caring that someone can get sick and potentially sue. A lot of their frozen food is expired also. CHECK EVERYTHING... SUPER OVER PRICED ALSO! The people who stock do amazing work. Someone at customer service was alerted to the expiration dates and they returned it to the shelf (day shift).. Mistakes happen. I get it, but customers health should come first. I own a business so I understand the hard work that the employees do every day and how overwhelming it can be. As soon as the expiration date situation comes to an end my rating will go up to a 3 star. I have an idea on the wholesale product prices hence why i dont agree with the prices. The friendly hardworking Employees are the reasoning behind why I like this store.

Nice clean store and the restrooms are kept clean. Conveniently open 24 hours (which is great for me and other people that commute daily to NYC). Employees friendly and helpful. Good selection of quality and high end products, including Kosher and Asian and other ethnic varieties. Meat and seafood sections kept clean. Love the parking lot -- well lit; always someone around and easy to get in and out of. I pass by this store daily and stop by several times a week. I cannot be happier that we have this store near my Bushkill neighborhood.

4 stars only because I regularly find at least one mangled item on the shelf every time Im shopping there. Like severely dented cans or paper products that we obviously removed from their bulk packaging with a blade. I primarily shop here for the meat. An on-site butcher who will cut/season/provide cooking info for any meat is a huge plus in my book. The value & quality of the meat products is far superior to any of the other local places. Oh, and their beer prices are the lowest in the area.

Staff went out of their way to be helpful, and even asked if we lived nearby (we dont) in order to make sure they stocked items we wanted. Market is large, clean, and was nearby to the attractions we visited in the area. We came back several times during the week and for some of our favorite speciality items (Asian, Mexican, Kosher) . We even bumped into neighbors who were vacationing in the same area and were going shopping there for the same reasons we did.

Everyone is so helpful here. The shelves are always stocked and they will even help you out with your groceries to the car. They have kids car shopping carts, car seat holder carts, as well as double kids carts that face forward, and a Carolines Cart as well. Always a pleasure shopping here. Also you earn 10 cents off per gallon of gas for every 100 you spend there. Buying some products gives you additional money off. I currently have 50 cents off a gallon.

This store is relatively new, and therefore very clean and up-to-date. The produce section is quite large, and features a wide selection of mushrooms, exotic fruits, herbs, along with a small selection of organic produce. They have a selection of vegan/vegetarian frozen foods. They sell both beer and wine, though the selection of both is a little limited. The store has self-checkout as well as friendly cashiers.

Horrible service last weekend I had to wait for the deli to open because they dont open until a certain time never heard that one this weekend go in for Bagels and there is none so I asked and the person that helped me said nobody showed up to make them but the bakery manager was there so I think he should have been over there doing it

Produce section was high priced and of poor quality. Staff is friendly. I usually just pick up groceries here and then get my fruits and vegetables from a little place called the Fruit Shack across from McDonalds on 209. Way better stuff and really inexpensive.
