Its a commonly believed lie that the "big box" home improvement stores are so much cheaper its worth driving several miles, walking a 1/4 mile, and encountering an employee that responds to your question with a blank look and a barely suppressed "du you want fries w/ that" attitude. F.D. Sons is MY go-to spot for a quick in/out, expert advice & help, save a buck, hardware shopping experience. The single best thing about this place? Its definitely the staff/selection/convenience/price.

Went here for the first time, everyone was really friendly. Theyve got a lot of hardware, plumbing and garden equipment, plus small tools, paint, key cutting and cleaning supplies packed in to a small store. I wish they had larger bags of potting soil but Im glad I stopped in.
