This is the first rating I have ever posted on Google. I found laptopbatteryexpress.com from a Google search and since they were offering a deal on a battery I needed, I decided to purchase it. Long story short, I bought a battery, it kept failing, contacted Christian (tech support guy) from LBE; we troubleshot some stuff; worked at first but had to send it back to the company for a replacement. Second battery was good, but it started having issues; troubleshot it and it worked for a bit. Then it was suggested that the charging cord might be bad, since it was a refurbished laptop, so I bought a new cord from LBE with the coupon code he gave me. I used the charger twice, and the 3 pronged metal piece literally broke off. During this entire battery/charging cord issues I was talking to the company, through email and their customer service number. I’ve called multiple times and NONE of my messages were ever returned. When I finally talked to someone, I was given the excuse they were short staffed because employees went to a conference or something. Every time I would email Christian, a week would go by with no response and I would email again. Well today I had it, I emailed him again almost demanding a prepaid shipping label and again, having to jump through hoops to get one. He emails me back and tells me that the return window was about to expire in 5 days...yeah because its been taking him forever to reply each time. So I called their company and spoke to a supervisor named Fred. He didnt seem to really care about the issue that I was having or the poor quality items that he was selling. I explained the situation and he said, if I wanted to return the items, I could have gone to the post office. Seriously? I have to do yet another step? No. So he emailed a prepaid shipping label (which apparently I am paying for out of my return) and I told him he didnt seem to care about my business or me as a customer. From almost day one with these products and this company, it has been ridiculous to deal with. And thats a shame because I really like supporting local, small businesses but when you cant even treat a customer like a person...what are you doing? That is makes a small business different from a franchise, quality customer services. Needless to say, I will never deal with this company again and the return is going in the mail tomorrow.

I needed two laptop batteries before a trip to China. Battery Express really screwed up and then seems to have lied to me. I am VERY disappointed. It started out well. I ordered two batteries after hours one night. They called the next morning and told me they had them both in stock. In fact, they told me they had exactly two, that one had cosmetic damage (but worked), and offered $20 off due to the cosmetic damage. Great. That worked for me. I had ordered the most expensive AM delivery next day. It would all work out fine. I got a FedEx tracking number but when I tried it it said that the label had been made but did not show any more information. I called FedEx and they told me the shipper had made the label but had not given them the package. I called on July 3rd. No answer. (They should have arrived several days earlier). I told them to cancel the order because I would not get them in time for my trip. I traveled on July 5th with no batteries. I got an confirmation cancellation email from them saying that the batteries were out of stock. I had already confirmed that they were in stock and they made a shipping label. I suspect someone in the shipping department screwed up and set the package aside and lost track of it before getting it to FedEx. At least apologize and admit a mistake and dont lie about it. I can NOT recommend this company.

A truly amazing vendor! Knowledgable and comprehensible, even to the computer challenged. Even told me that I did not need a battery! Received order within 2 days. Mistakenly sent the wrong battery but, admitted their error (a rare event in todays online services), and sent me the correct battery within 2 days, along with a return postage label for the first battery. A real pleasure to do business with this vendor!!!!

Needed a replacement battery for my mid 2010 MBP. These guys made it incredibly easy to find the right battery. I was able to call and talk to an employee on the phone to verify the right battery I needed and then order it. I was actually sent the wrong batter the first time but I simply called and they sent me the right battery. The customer service was amazing and I could not be happier with my purchase

Excellent selection, prompt delivery and amazing customer service. I mistakenly ordered the wrong battery and when I called for an RMA to exchange it they covered the shipping, and it was my mistake. Kudos and two big thumbs up!
