They do have friendly people. But if you come in with a inner tube replacement and they cant find a hole, they make one. Ive had no problems with my bicycle tires until I started shopping here. Before I come in to have a tire replaced, I always inspect my wheels (and the wheel liner) thoroughly and also do the soapy water test on my inner tubes. I replaced 5 inner tubes in 1 month with these guys! Every time there is no apparent hole in the inner tube and no obvious air leakage from the rubber itself. (It turned out to be a faulty valve stem every time.) I even brought them the inner tubes with air in them so they can see there are no holes. They inspected the inner tubes in front of me at first but could not find anything. Then they mysteriously went around the corner to where you cant see them and very quickly come out with a big obvious hole in the tube and explain that I must have run over a thorn. They used the same excuse 3 of the 5 times! The 3rd time they said that to me, I was actually using the Tuffy liners and didnt tell them. Nice try. Also they do not stock thicker or heavy duty tubes at all. They use the cheap Giant brand, which they now charge you $12 for! Really? You can get the same tubes from Walmart at half that price, or any other shop for $8. These guys only seem to respect your intelligence if you are buying a brand new bicycle from them. But if you go in with something you bought at Walmart or Target, forget it.

My husband had two separate repairs done here. On his road bike he was initially quoted 130$ for all cables and housings__ parts and labor; and then bar tape and chain rings with just labor. When he went to pick up the bike, the bill was 175$ and was told that the parts cost for the cables and housings was not included in the initial quote of 130$. At the same time, he dropped off a tubular wheel with an issue with the valve stem. Was told worse case the tire would need replacing and need to be re-glued, and was quoted 100$ for tire and 50$ for the glue. Just picked it up and had to pay 197$ bill. The tire was 117$ and we found it on Amazon for 64$. Will not be returning here for any future business as theyre inconsistent with their quotes and they are over charging on parts.

WOW! What a great bike shop! Took our bikes in to get refitted (Retul) and had a wonderful experience. Andres was amazing at making sure we were set in our bike correctly. He also gave us some great tips based on our bodies strengths and weaknesses. Once he got us on the trainers everything worked exactly like he said. He is a true professional! As for the store itself, it is beautiful and a pleasure to shop. They have a great selection of clothes, nutrition, electronics, shoes, helmets, accessories, carriers, wheels, bikes and anything you would ever need to go biking. I highly recommend you visit Trixie and Andres, as they will take very good care of you!!

Awesome experience - the best bike shop Ive been in by far. The friendliness and knowledge of the staff is top tier. It took me three different trips to finally pull the trigger and decide on a bike. From the initial fitting to test riding the bike, the Outspoken team was extremely helpful. Ive long been a Cervelo rider, however I just recently made the switch to a BMC TM01 and I couldnt be happier. Excited for the 2015 season and beyond. Thanks Val and the Outspokin Team!

great group of people who work here! Came in to buy a spoke wrench to attempt to true my own wheels. Got great advice from Master Mechanic Mike himself, and still my hall pass to bring them back in if I messed them up! LOL... being in my 30s I felt a bit out of place on my BMX bike, but getting back into the sport it was great experience, and atmosphere to walk into. Thanks Mike ... (and thanks to the kid behind the counter who was rad as well!)

Went to a mock tri and when I got there my bikea stem from the tube was bent and letting out air. Im newer to biking I didnt know how to fix it. I was freaking out because the mock tri was about to start and I couldnt fix the bike. A rep from Outspokin comforted me and fix the tube within less than 10 mins. I couldnt get over how nice, quick, and proficient he was. Definitely will go to them if I need anything. Thank you guys for your help!
