It is really difficult to read the reviews of ignorant people on Google who seem to want something for nothing. How does anyone expect a Local Bike Shop (LBS) to stay in business if the shop does not cover its labor and merchandise costs? I have been an Outspokin customer since I first moved to the area in 2003 and have had nothing but positive dealings with them. They have realistic pricing on their bikes and accessories. It is TOTALLY unreasonable to expect Outspokin or any other LBS to match an ebay price on any item. Also, when you buy a tube and a tire at any store or LBS, I also believe it is TOTALLY unreasonable to expect that store or LBS to warranty a flat. You buy flat insurance at Goodyear for that service, maybe you can do the same at your LBS? The employees at Outspokin are nothing but professional and you can expect to be greeted with a smile and asked if you need help but will not be hounded. If you need help, they are always nearby to answer any questions that you have. I have never seen them all outside smoking. In their staff you have triathletes that have finished multiple Ironman races, road racers and recreational riders that all lead a healthy lifestyle. As for the source of origin of their merchandise, there are VERY few mass market carbon-frame bicycles that are not made in Taiwan or aluminum bicycles made in China. Giant, in fact, makes frames for many other manufacturers. Cevelo also sources their frames in Taiwan (with the exception of the R5ca - made in USA) and assembles them in Canada. Both companies stand behind their products and I have seen incredible warranty claims for both brands. I have been riding road bicycles competitively since I was in my teens and have been to literally HUNDREDS of bicycle shops all across the country and in Europe. I have yet to see a bicycle shop that treated its customers with dignity and respect like Outspokin does. Additionally, Outspokin sends their mechanics to seminars run by Shimano and Campagnolo to ensure they are up to date with the latest products and procedures. The staff also participate in clinics run by Giant and Cervelo for the same purpose. Just remember, your get what you give. If you go into ANY business and throw down an attitude or be unreasonable you just may not get what you need. If you are courteous and respectful you will get it back in spades!

Found a bike I liked online then found out Giant bikes are not allowed to be shipped so I looked for one locally. Once I found something similar I went to outspokin to see it. They showed me the bike I wanted but looked up other bikes in their stock as well. They found a 2015 high end giant trance with carbon wheels that was just a bit more because it was one of their exhibition bikes (they loan/rent it out sometimes or use it for promo) but was in great shape. Anyway it was at another location and they had it brought over. I was so excited that I did not check it appropriately.....once home I noticed a big Dent in one wheel. I took it back the next day and the sales rep Miguel quickly pointed out that carbon wheels dont dent. There was a mistake in the computer system and somehow the 2014 bike got confused for a 2015. They were very sorry about it and promised they would make it up. They found a 2015 Giant Trance Advance 2 which is better than what I thought I was buying (this one has a carbon frame). Anyway they traded the bike with no additional funds to make up for the error. I got a $3650 Giant for $2600 that was almost new (only like 2 rides before me.....also an exhibition bike)! Extremely happy with outspokin! Earned my business! Going shopping there for a new carbon handle bar in the next few weeks. Love my bike but having an issue with the upswing in my bars and issues with my wrists but that is another story

FAIL! Go elsewhere.... If you want someone who really knows what they are doing. We bought two bikes from this place and had Leo "help" us pick out the right frames. But his choices were obviously not thought out and pretty random, since after riding the bikes longer distances for a few weeks we realized they were not comfortable at all. There was no measuring, he just eyeballed everything, tried to upsell us on gloves and whatnot, and sent us on our way without a helmet for one of us, even though he knew we didnt have helmets. What good bike shop does that?! We should have been cautious when he repeated 4 times that once we leave the store thats it, its ours no matter what. Finally after being fed up, we took the bikes to another shop and they immediately saw both bikes were too big for us. The associate was really surprised that a bike shop wouldnt even take measurements when fitting someone for a bike and would recommend bikes that were obviously(to a professional) too big for us. So thanks to someone at Outspokin Bicycles we had to eat an over $1200 cost because they really didnt give a crap about their customers and just wanted more money. Thanks sooooo much Outspokin.... we really appreciate being taken for a ride!

I bought a very nice bike at the Outspoken Bicycle Shop about seven months ago and was having problems with my wrists. Not only did the staff help me figure out a way to deal with my problem they located and ordered the special parts I needed, thanks Doug. However what makes this store so incredibly special is the treatment you get from the staff when they service you and your bike. Miguel took the time to make sure that I was comfortable on the bike and at Outspoken they dont nickel and dime you. I bought the special ordered arrow bars and even though they had already fitted me on the bike I bought their seven months ago, Miguel took the time to make sure I was comfortable on the bike with the new arrow bars. Val the owner knows you once you have visited the store only once and I have even been on a group ride where when several of us were falling behind Leo stayed with us and made sure everyone got back together. I drive almost an hour from where I live to go to this store and cant say enough about the quality of the bikes, workmanship, knowledge and help you get from the people that work at the Tampa Store. Thanks Outspoken for taking such great care of me. Tegan

I was recently at the Tampa location getting some repairs done on my bike while waiting I decided to buy a new kit. I liked it so much I wanted another unfortunately they were out of my size no problem I thought Ill make a call to the Clearwater store and ask what they have in Stock. Spoke with a gentleman told him what I was looking for he put me on hold to go look a couple seconds go by and a woman picked up the phone and informed me of what they had in stock then I maid the "mistake" of asking if it would be possible for her to send me some pictures of what was available and save me the trip from north tampa to Clearwater if I didnt like what I saw or already owned what they had avalible. Now I completely understand that this might be considered and unusual request and that it might not be possible and would have been fine with coming into the store but not after her response, witch was rude and off putting at best she said she could send me pictures and asked for a number. I was made to feel as if this request was making her go above and beyond the limits of her job responsibilities.
