mixed these days. I have been a loyal customer to cyclist connection for a while now. 5+ years if i had to guess and have been buying and going to there shop for longer. They used to be great. and Rick the shop owner still is (he will make sure you understand what it is your getting) and he loves to talk to his customers if he has the time. but lately the more and more i go in to cyclist connection. the worse and worse it is. Rick is slaving away working on bikes while his mechanics are screwing off in the back room while customers are looking for help and the only time they help them is when they bring something up to the counter. some of the mechanics there are actually still very customer oriented but ive personally watched with my own eyes one mechanic who was asked to pick out a carbon seatpost for a gentlemen who wanted more offset. she could not read a caliper she could not pick out the offset and she continuously badgered other mechanics for help. Also I ordered a set of ROL volant R/T wheels from cyclist connection about a year ago. payed good money for them. i got a call about a week after ordering them telling me they were in. Oh boy! I rushed over from work when i got off to go pick them up. couldnt be happier. got home with new wheels new tires new tubes. started putting the tubes on the wheels. looked at the front wheel and something seemed off. So I started counting spokes. sure enough the wheel was the ROL volant but not the R/T model I ordered. I was charged for the R/T model but did not receive the R/T model. I just dont understand why rick keeps getting this mix of mechanics. its a great shop and ill continue to shop there but some of his employes need to be talked to or let go

Super helpful and informative staff. Great products and friendly atmosphere. If they are there anyway. Myself and another car pulled into the lot at 7:30 and they were already closed. This is the second time Ive gone and they were closed before the listed closing time. I can understand they may not have a full sore all the time, but cycling isnt exactly a sport everyone is involved in. Would have been 5 stars cause the staff is that good, but routinely closing early (in my experience) isnt acceptable to me.

I went to cyclist connection for what I thought was a flat tire. When I got there I found out that my bike needed new tires, tubes, and a lot of tightening. Bike repair can be super expensive and the employees at the shop made sure to give me the best price possible. Im super appreciative of the way they treated me when I was there and Ill definitely be back.

This is my first time buying a bike from a bike shop. I am a bigger guy and was looking for one for exercise. I visited a few other stores before going here the recommendation of a friend. These guys took the time to help me get the right bike and make sure it fit me. It was a great experience and they are very friendly. I will not go anywhere else now.

Easily my favorite bike shop. I drive all the way across town because of the friendly staff and genuine concern for my cycling needs. I know Ric will give me honest answers to my questions and only sell me the stuff I really need. Whether you are a beginner, a recreational rider, or an avid cyclist, this is the place to go.

We needed a repair on the rear wheel of our tandem. It required a hub of a width not typically made anymore. The folks at Cyclist Connection tracked down the new hub, kept us apprised of the status and had the repaired wheel back to us in about a week. We would highly recommend them for quick, quality repairs to your bike.

Cyclist Connection carries great merchandise for all cycling abilities and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Repair and maintenance is incredible - some of the best bike mechanics in town, IMO. Worth a visit for small adjustments to a complete overhaul or for water bottles to a brand new Lynsky.

I work for a mobile x-ray company and had to go get a tire fixed on one of my machines. The guy who took care of me was very friendly and very fast. Will for sure be going back for all my wheel repairs.
