I purchased a Cannondale Adventure 2 bike for a total of almost $700 with some accessories on Jan 12, 2017. On only my second ride on Jan 16, the entire left pedal crank fell off while I was riding on gulf boulevard in Indian Rocks Beach!!! Fortunately there was not a car passing me as this caused me to lose balance and swerve into the car lane! Once I recovered, I was able to walk back and retrieve the pedal crank and the screw that held it in place. I walked the bike 2.5 miles back to my home and called the bike shop to report this incident and seek their help. I have a two door coupe and cannot safely transport the bike back to the shop, so when I asked them to come to my home which is less than three miles away I was told no and to just bring the bike in!! Shocked I hung up, but then called back 15 minutes later explaining to them that they were lucky I did not get hurt and sue them! I further told them that this was not good customer service, especially given the size of my purchase, and that if they did not come and repair the bike, I would see a full refund through my credit card company. I was told that the owner would be contacted and someone would get back to me. It is now four days later and I have heard nothing!! Heed this review and take your business elsewhere. I am sorry that I did not listen to the other negative reviewers, for they were right!

This bike shop is located just minutes from Clearwater and San Key Beaches and sits directly off the Pinellas County trail. Very convenient location. I personally feel that Ride N Role Cyclery is one of the best bike shops in the entire State of FL and is definitely the best bike shop in the Clearwater/Tampa Bay area. I consider the shop a reliable community resource for all cycling needs. Whether you are an avid mountain biker, a casual spin rider on a beach cruiser, or ride high performance road bikes, this bike shop clearly has solutions to all your biking needs. In my opinion, the staff has also mastered the art of customer service and will routinely work to exceed my expectations. Not to mention, the owner raced professionally and is just a knowledgeable and expert resource who is always willing to help. The store has an excellent atmosphere, large variety of bike choices, and all the accessories youll need, along with very competitive pricing. I would highly recommend going to this bike shop if you are looking for outstanding customer service, professional repair service, and expert advice. Over the past several years, I have been a very satisfied Ride N Roll customer!!

Had an accident with a car that the bike took really hard, could hardly move the bike, The bike is kind of unique--no chain but a shaft drive--which gave me concern as to whether it could be fixed and then by who. Decided to take it to Ride-N-Roll in that I had seen them from the trail and with a number of locations they must be doing something right. Because of the extensive damage it was repaired in 2 stages--the first to get it up and operating--the second to see what else was needed once it could at least be "ridden". The parts were not easy to find but Rick did it and I picked up the bike today. I am a VERY happy camper. The bike rides like it was new--went for about 20 miles to test everything and everything worked as it should. The costs were BELOW my expectations--Rick felt sorry for me I think--no insurance for the guy who hit me who lives in his car--so out of my pocket. Rick tried to "buff" out some of the road rash the bike picked up and did some other small things for no charge as well that made you feel like he wanted you to feel good about all that he did--which I do. I guess the best way to say it is that Rick took pride in his work and it showed!

My first few visits to this shop were pleasant, however it has gone way downhill since then. I had a flat and asked for a tube and install, the guy just tried to sell me the tube, and when I asked for an install again he grumbled and rolled his eyes. I had had previous work done to true the wheels and when I took off the back wheel to install the tube I found that they had just bent a piece of metal and rigged the tire so it would be straight enough to ride on. I went back to have this fixed and was quoted $50 over the phone for the replacement, but when I arrived for pickup it was suddenly $87. This is how you lose customers.

STAY AWAY!!! Rude employees with a major attitude the one who does the repair work! NOT HAPPY with the experience that I had here. Came in for new tubes and they were supposed to call to let us know if there was more needed to the bike. I thought that this kind of thing was universal in all businesses that when something more needs to be done the business should inform the customer of what is needed. But this place decided not to contact us and did it anyway! Well they need to understand that people live on a budget and have priorities. Oh well last time I will be coming here!

I went to Ride and Roll this afternoon to get a bike. Matt was extremely helpful. He found the bike I thought I wanted at the other store so I went down to the Seminole location. After trying the bike there I ended up finding a different one I liked and Matt had it at the W. Bay Drive location along with the rack I wanted. I went back to Matts location and him and Carlos did a great job of getting the bike ready for me even though it was closing time. They were both extremely helpful and I look forward to doing more business with Ride and Roll.

Went on weekend group ride, pace was perfect, being from out of town I was worried theyd try to blow me up or suffer, they did just the opposite and told me when to expect group acceleration and know that they would slow pedal after. They treated me like a king, best group ride I have been on in a long time. Then dropped bike off at shop for quick fixes, they did them and pointed out a few other things that needed love, to which I am happy they did. Bike is riding great.

Very high pressure sales... I went in ready to buy after a couple of visits and I felt like I was being stalked by a pack of wolves. Latin American gentleman would not leave me alone after I asked him 4 times just let me please look. I told him I was there earlier today and I just wanted to look at the bike that was shown to me earlier again. he stood less than a foot away from me and would not stop pushing me into buying.

Wish I had stopped at this place first, not last. They had a ton of new and used bikes for sale. I got great deal. Impressed with both the sales staff and service (who happened to be the owner, Frank). This is a real working bike shop that concentrates on their customers, not frivolities! Its a bit hidden off East bay but large and comfortable when you get there. Cool that it is right beside the bike trail.
