Thus far its been very good. And as I do have a slight with some workmanship on one of the guitars Ive purchased (epiphone), Im assured it will be addressed promptly. And from the service Ive received so far I have very little concern it will be. - Ill keep you posted. UPDATE: The group at our Clearwater Sam Ash performed stellar(ly?). (Is that even a word.) Not only did they address the issue of the guitar, but I ended up buying another Les Paul from them, as well. - So if the Q is, "would I send my mom over there?", the answer is definitely! (Of course, Id callm first and tell them that she is on the way....... and that shes my Mom. /0) Update to the update. Seriously speaking, the service could not have been any better. The above is still true, but since then Ive also purchased another les paul (from a different dealer, only because it was a spur of the moment in NY) that needed a bit of attention. So when I took it to Sam Ash they couldnt have been more helpful on THAT axe as well. As to the post Ill say, if it were possible to give sam ash, rockford, danny, josh, joe, and a slew of others a big wet kiss, Id probably not, cause Im a guy. BUT, Id def toss them all at SA 6 stars instead of five. True statement. Thx again everybody there.

Sam Ash technical staff and sales staff are always willing to spend time explaining the products, and uses for each piece of equipment -- which makes this the only place I spend my hard earned money. Every time they are polite and willing to help me and my friends. And I definitely recommend this store to all my musician friends, and theres one person Tony Scalamogna who I cant say enough about. All extremely positive and professional and very detailed oriented and he is so well informed about all the latest technology and even the old school sounds and equipment... and hes one heck of a fantastic musician too! It makes it easy to know I can count on getting solid advise, best matched prices, but to know these guys care about making the right sale... Not just to make a sale. Well -- thats priceless. Now Ive come to trust Tony and all the staff & management at Clearwater Florida Sam Ash (aka Kapok Tree). I cant wait to win the big lottery so I can buy even more cool toys from Sam Ash !! I have been going to Sam Ash off and on for the past several years. Ive bought a few guitars here (including my very first one) and taken lessons for over a year. I cant say enough good things about the service you get. Sometimes it can take a little while to get to talk to someone, but its always worth the wait. Chris at the guitar desk is a wealth of knowledge and never steers me wrong. He also takes extremely good care of my guitars when I drop them off for string changes, and I highly value his advice on different products in the store. These guys are musicians themselves and know what theyre talking about. They arent afraid to tell you when a particular product or guitar sucks, so I never feel like theyre just trying to sell me something. When they tell me something is good or really works, I completely trust them. If you want to buy a plastic guitar that will sit under your kids bed after two weeks, go to Guitar Center. If you want to truly learn about music in a friendly and helpful environment, come to Sam Ash.

From the General Manager,-(Randy Rumore) to The vocal coach of the stars,-(Susan McCann) as well as all of the other members of the Clearwater staff that make me feel "right at home" ,-(Susanne, JoeJ immy, Chris and Joe)....just to name a few. They authentically have my interest at heart for every moment in every second of every minute in every hour that I spend insuide or outside of their store and its all about them compensating me for my love of music and obsession with being a top performer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to Sam Ash yesterday. I brought 2 old used guitars with me to be re-strung and tuned up. I am a beginner at guitar but love music and have a good ear for it. I have a 7 year old son who is learning with me. When I went in I was greeted immediately (and as a manager for Publix, I lookfor that). I asked basic questions and Rockford (musician and employee) was extremely helpful. He looked at both guitars to see if they were worth tuning before starting the job. He explained a lot about what he was doing and why. The guitars sounded awesome when he was done. I will definitely go back. Important note: I am not a phony consumer trying to boost ratings. I have gone to guitar Center and felt intimidates and more like an inconvenience to the associates than a customer. That was not the case here. Im hooked.

This is a great place to shop for anything music related !! I love the atmosphere and the way I am treated there. I feel like I mean more to them than the money that is in my wallet. Great service, and treated like family !! ROCKFORD and the guys do an excellent job getting me the things I need, at a fair price, all without breaking the bank and making me feel at home !!! MUCH PREFERRED over Guitar Center !! I have a G.C. that is closer to my house, but I will and have many times drove past it to go to SAM ASH, because I know Ill be taken care of, treated with respect, and they always make sure that I leave happy !!! SAM ASH ~ CLEARWATER has and will continue to be my musical home to shop from. 5 STARS !!!

By far the best Sam Ash ive been to. The building is unique, it looks like a greek coliseum inside and out. The store seemed fully stocked up and the staff was very helpful and friendly. They also knew their stuff, theyre not just salesman which to me is very important when im checking out an item. Finally (although I am not a drummer and you dont have to be to appreciate this) in the center of the store was this sweet Crush Drumset mounted on a beautiful custom built tree (sort of drum kit mount). This to me appears to be same as one I saw in a youtube video at the namm show...... Very nice touch. I had a great experience ar this store

Sam Ash always has plenty of inventory to choose from especially used equipment. Salesman Joshua G was pleasant and helpful in me purchasing a used Taylor 814CE and Fender amp. He is a really nice guy who made the experience a great one for a great price even better than I could have bought them privately. Also bought a used amp that had problems. They took care of it and sent it out and got it fixed. Took care of everything. Your in good hands with Sam Ash. They back there products 100%. Also there 30 day no nonsense return policy is great. They want you to be sure and happy with your purchase. Good place to buy stuff from
