I had never set foot in a Dollar General Market until last Saturday. I stopped in to purchase toilet paper and walked out with $67 in groceries. They were having a sale on bulk ground chuck (in fluff packs), but they were out. As they dont offer rain checks, I thought I was out of luck, but the manager offered to let me purchase it on Tuesday morning (after the sale ended) when the truck came in. I agreed and finished my shopping. As I was checking out, he came up to me and said, "I realized that we have ground chuck patties available. Would you like to take a couple of those instead? Ill mark them down to the same price as the bulk ground chuck." I jumped on that and was able to purchase the meat I needed at an excellent price. Manager, Rick, provided excellent customer service and was extremely helpful! Dont go in there expecting to see the selection of a Winn-Dixie. *Its a Dollar General with an extended grocery section.* But they provide excellent customer service. The eggs are always reasonably priced and its a great place to get staple grocery items.

Manager was rude and very dismissive. Cashiers were nice and trying to help but manager was rude to them as well. Surprised someone with that much of an attitude somehow was given a manager position. It was clear Rick didnt like his job. Rick clearly needs an attitude adjustment. Customer Service is key buddy. Im sure you would rather be known as Rick by customers instead of being known as a total dick, and unbearable to be around.

Richard who is a employee or manager at this store should not raise his voice at a 69 year old man in a scooter that has had a stroke.....this man has served 5 tours in Vietnam for your country.....having a stroke completely changes a person mentally and physically.....shame on you...I hope someone speaks to you about this matter Debbie. I love this store...its was do clean organized and immaculate...will definitely be back...excellent meat prices compared to a local grocery store...very impressed...and the crazy part is I didnt even get to explore the whole store but its okay I love it anyway...will be back soon

Very impressed liked it very much was pleased to see regular name brands that I normally use some of these other stores have cheap prices but the brands are wierd. Will definitely go back there.Never had been to a DGMARKET before,but glad I have it in my town.

I really like this location. They have everything you need at a good price without the Walmart crowds. The staff is pretty friendly and we can always get in and out very fast. If you are looking for a Walmart alternative this might be the place for you.
