On 4/4/16 I called Mother Earth/Summerlin since I had bad cold or allergy symptoms. I had been taking high doses of Vitamin C & D3 for 6 days with no relief so I thought it must be allergies to wet paint. I had sore throat, nasal congestion and finally a very bad persistent dry cough. I asked the sales person Jenny what shed recommend. She confirmed it was allergies to paint if I wasnt wearing a good respirator. She recommended Enzymatic Therapy Bronchial Soothe and Ridgecrest Clear Lungs. I was desperate to relieve my cough so I used both remedies as directed on the bottles. I started at 1:00 p.m. after I bought the stuff and by the next morning I was miraculously 100% symptom free. It normally takes me a week or so to get rid of a cough so I was surprised. Another review suggested Mother Earth is expensive but I feel its well worth the extra cost for the expert advice and ability to pick up the product immediately vs. waiting for an on line delivery. Jenny THANK YOU for your advice to relieve my symptoms quickly and I got a respirator so I could resume my painting!

The store has a fairly wide selection of supplements and a smaller selection of grocery items. The items are expensive in comparison to other stores with similar selections and, most frustratingly, the prices are not marked on the shelf, rather on a tiny sticker randomly placed on the individual item. This location is unique in that it receives a weekly delivery of milk and other dairy products from a local farm. Unfortunately, the delivery is inconsistent and the staff are unorganized and uncommunicative regarding delivery dates, times, and other specifics.

I really like this store. Its small but has a lot of specialty items in addition to vitamins. They are however expensive. If you compare their prices to prices of on-line sources there is a big enough difference to order what you need on-line and have the convenience of delivery and I found a site with as little as a $49 purchase delivery is free and no tax is charged. I wish Mother Earths prices were more competitive. For me the extra money spent shopping at the store adds up quickly and an amount that I cant ignore so if I can save shopping on-line I will.

The gentleman behind the counter couldnt have cared less that they had been out of the shampoo and soap I love, and didnt say a word back to me when I informed him they had been out for weeks, so I wont be returning. I love supporting local businesses, but bad service is inexcusable.
