On a trip around Lake Junaluska, my bike chain slipped. We had driven 500+ miles to NC to renew wedding vows. We had brought our bikes and hoped to ride around Catalochee Valley and also up to the Biltmore. A broken bike was going to do! I immediately checked my iphone and found one local listing - Rollsrite Bicycles. The one review was unfavorable (not on this site), but we didn t have a lot of options. The owner immediately figured out our problem, placed a new part on it and even adjusted my seat - it had been slipping since I had purchased it. He did this all for $24. He knew we were in a pinch and he came to our aid. My only regret is that I can not recall his name. Very much a gentleman and if we follow our dreams and move to Waynesville area, Rollsrite will be our go-to bike shop. And FYI - at Catalochee, I saw a black bear from a distance on my bike. Awesome!

I would give the shop a 5 star if I still raced and had the needs of of a racer. Now Im a normal road biker. These guys are friendly. Prices are good. Both fellows are named John, so that helps. I had an old racing bike in horrible condition. Despite my incredibly poor care of the bike over the last four years, they thought it was reasonable that I start with new tires, take it for a ride, feel out what the next steps should be.... no pressure to buy the "basic rehab" package. John spun the front wheel and thought new ball bearings wouldnt hurt.... a good low key individual evaluation of a bike. What helpful intelligent merchants. Yay!

it is not a huge shop, but the owner is very friendly and very helpful...and the prices are very reasonable. I bought a park pedal wrench for about what you would pay online, but no shipping...so I was pretty happy about that. I had gone there for some pedals, but they didnt have but a couple in stock. Overall a nice experience, and it is nice to support the little guy.

A super experience. We stopped in for a simple repair and received great service, a friendly atmosphere, and the knowledge of someone who loves cycling. We were staying in Lake Junaluska for the week, so the location, cost, and ease of just being able to walk in and be served could not have been better. We will return.

John (the owner) is the BEST! Very patient, likes bikes of all levels/brands/era, and is a nice guy. Very reasonable prices on repairs too!
