This is a very nice bike shop with friendly and knowledgeable people. The thing that impressed me the most is that they dont just sell you a bike and shove you out the door. They spend time talking to you, taking your measurements, let you test ride bikes, discuss your budget, and everything else to make your purchase the best they can. This was my first major bike purchase and they made it easy for me. I went with a Trek 1.1, the entry level road bike. They had to build it for me and they had it finished by the next day for me to come pick up. When I went to go get it they didnt just say "here you go" and show me the door. They took the time to discuss everything about the bike and answered questions. I took it for a quick spin on the Macomb Orchard Trail and decided it needed a minor adjustment for the last gear and went back to the shop where they made the necessary adjustment. If youre looking for a great bike shop with great services and affordable prices this is the place in Michigan to go to.

What a great place. It seems that there are so few in customer service left in this world that care about - you know - customer service. And thank you so much for the advice Dave. My nine year old son was born with mild cerebral palsy. His motor function is limited. Ive been trying to get him off the training wheels for the last two years, without success. Dave told me to take the pedals off and throw away the training wheels. Took him a half an hour and he learned to balance the bike and coast. Just like that, he can ride a bike. Pride, tears, etc. Thank you. It is a shame that someone had to spoil your perfect five star rating - you certainly deserve that. That person cant possibly be talking about this shop. Or, its an employee of Albes. It is a shame that anyone with a computer can just spew trash willy nilly on the internet and affect anothers business or personal well being. Just sayin. Sorry for the negativity, and Thanks again.

My wife and I purchased new Treks from Hamilton Bicycles in April, 2015. I was in the market for a touring bike and Hamiltons was one of the few stores that had a Trek 520 on their floor. Dave, who also owns a Surley LHT, gave me the opportunity to look at that bike as well. Nathan expertly helped us choose the right bikes and accessories, frequently steering us away from more expensive options if he thought that they didnt serve us well. Finally, Nathan doggedly chased down a couple of minor issues on my bike, a full year after the purchase. Dave and Nathan run a quality operation with great products at very competitive prices and with unparalleled service.

The older gentleman who works there is extremely rude. I went in to get a new wheel bearing and I couldnt get the bearing off of the wheel axle because I forgot to unscrew the nut that was holding it in place. The man had all the tools sitting next to him to screw it off in 5 seconds, but refused and said "I charge $65 an hour. Im not touching that". Which is extremely rude considering I came in to buy products from him but instead left with nothing because he couldnt be bothered to unscrew a nut. Keep in mind that I was the only one in the shop and there was 2 other workers sitting next to him.

Always Excellent. Anybody who had trouble here must have had a bad attitude going in.They are kind, courteous and extremely helpful, not at all pushy. Perhaps the complainant should go somewhere more suited to their style.....like Walmart!!! They could even ride their Chinese bikes around the parking lot. Small business, local businesses are the best.

Went there only twice and didnt use their service. I just bought few things there and asked questions...very happy with the way they treated their customers... The only problem is, that since they dont have a lot of room inside, they dont like their customers to bring their bikes in for any reason... not a big deal...

This bike store is great. Very knowledgeable mechanics. They built up a new frame I brought in with parts from another bike of mine. Very reasonable rates. Highly recommend.
