I went in to buy a ferret. This guy at the counter I believe his name was Conner. He was very rude and loud. He told me I have to wait for management to clear me on adopting the ferret. The ferret was already brought to him by the head manager in the store at the time. He put the ferret on the side for about 25 mins. I had to let 8 customers go ahead of me. All of them were asking what was in the box screaming? He answered with a bunch of really uncalled for responses. Like he just wants to be with his family in the back. Hinting that I shouldnt adopt the ferret. He then took it out slapped my ferret on the nose while grabbing the back of his fur firmly. Finally the manager says to him why arent you finishing the SALE. It is an ADOPTION not a SALE. He walks over to her whispers then comes back to me saying oh I guess I have to SELL it to you! Management says I have to. With a big smirk on his face. I do not like the way he treated me or my ferret.

Often have to hunt for an employee when it isnt a peak hour. No one around or watching the cashier. Today half the employees where outside on smoke break or something, when a group of 6 people walked in along with me at 3:38. Someone went into the back area to look for help. Its super dangerous for the store to have such lax security. If any of us were less honest we could have robbed you and theyd never notice... Please speak to your staff and remind them to always have one person in sight of the door at all times, or at least in the storefront... Also, your Aquatics section could use some work. Make sure youre doing got water changes and arent ordering more than what you sell. Its expected to loose some fish in the store, but the rate yours die seem to indicate something is wrong. You also have an ongoing battle with blackbeard algae. Take a trip to the Rosedale Petco if you need some inspiration for Aquatics.

Usually pretty good. Yesterday, not so much. Stood there at the fish to be waited on. Two employees were taking inventory and apparently couldnt be bothered. Sucks because it was a 50% off everything sale. Maybe this was a tactic so they dont have to sell at half price? Dude could take the time yell at some people for taking pictures of fish (whats that about?) But couldnt sell us some fish.

Labrador Paradise

First thing we went in with my two labs and I went in the store and when you walk in the floor is so dirty its very disgusting. The other thing is we went in to get nails trimmed on my dog and the groomer was on lunch so the guy said she would be about 20 minutes so we waited for about another 25 minutes she still didnt show up so we left nobody said sorry about that or anything.

I wish I could give 0 stars! I have been here several times and there are only 2 employees 2 younger gentleman that seem to care about their customers and their jobs. Today was the last time I will enter this store. The fish department is disgraceful! It made me sad that there is such little care in this store!

The cashiers dont pay mind to customers! I tried asking a question twice and they were to busy on their phones and having conversations with each other.. That inwas totally IGNORED.. Other than that the VETCO Clinic was great even thought it was a long line it went super Fast and smooth!

Grooming job terrible. My dogs are Maltese and they cut ears very short as well as lower face and tail. Looks terrible. Also raised prices some last grooming ant made aware until after service. Did not put collars back and had to make extra trip back. Never again☹

Quick run in and out for specialty kitty litter. Found a bag that had a repaired hole, and it had a 10% off sticker because of it. Check out was quick, staff were nice. Store is a little small when compared to other Petcos but the selection is still large.

Nice pet store if you ignore the fish. Previous experience with fish and snails dead within days. This last time, too many dead or dying fish to take a chance. Easily almost a dozen in one tank alone and employees blissfully claiming their fish were healthy.
