I got a water dragon from them. They sold him at 15% off because he was not doing well. He was extremely emaciated. His face very sickly looking. I had seen him the week before looking a little rough. The guy there said they thought he had worms and was treating him. A week latter I went back and he looked much worse. I asked if he seen the vet since he had deteriorated and the guy said no and didnt think they would take him. I asked what kind of discount for a dying animal. The girl only gave me 15%. I took him home. The next day took him to a reptile veterinary. He has metabolic bone disease, pin worms, mouth rot, broken tail, and an eye infection. This is not the first animal I have rescued from this store. He is the 3rd. The people that work there are not properly educated. Ive heard them give wrong information to people. The owner is never there anymore. He is always off at the reptile shows. Maybe he should cut back on the shows and make sure this animals are properly taken care of. This store has more sick animals then it should. I understand having sick animals, but the number there is a ridiculous. They are not properly treating them. I feel they are only in it for the money. I have had the water dragon (named him Edgar) for a week. He is already looking better. He is on a high calcium diet and medication for his eye and mouth that a qualifying that veterinary prescribed. He now has a fighting chance.

Nice shop. The only local fish store in the area (other then Pet World and i have never been there but it is not known to be great) The store is pretty small and we got to speak to the owner shortly after they opened and it sounds like this was going to be a fish place and another store nearby was going to be for reptiles. It appears that that plan fell through and the reptiles are in here. It is a little cramped in there because of the reptiles that are in the middle aisle. WARNING if you are scared of snakes dont go in there. Now to the fish. They have a small selection of freshwater fish (platties, guppies, mollies, goldfish stuff like that. They have a nice selection of Cichlids but they are way over priced. Any Cichlid is $12.99, far more expensive then Petco or Petsmart, on the other hand some FW fish are really cheep, so it all evens out. I wish they had some selection of aquatic plants. They have awesome looking saltwater fish! They also have lots of equipment for fish and reptiles. One thing that I dont like is that some of their fish appear to be donated, which is a great thing for people that want to get rid of fish, but it produced a lot of bad looking fish from amateur breeders this is freshwater by the way, there should be some sort of quality control here. All in all its a pretty nice shop and I recommend it to anyone that has a fish tank.

Ive been here many times. The store was recommended to me by a co-worker. My husband was looking for a pet snake, so we went. My first impression was that is was very warm and crowded. This wasnt a big deal because I know the reptiles need the heat. Over time, we kept going. They have all of the supplies you need to set up almost any sort of aquarium or terrarium. They specialize in Ball Pythons. Several of the workers breed Ball Pythons and are VERY knowledgeable. They sell a wide variety of Balls from normals to g-stripes to sterlings. Tony, a worker, taught my hubby and myself everything we need to know about breeding. He explained everything like what bedding to use, which snakes breed to produce which morph, and how to build an incubator. He breeds his own snakes and sells some of them in the store. Another reviewer mentions that the fish seemed donated. To clear that up, private breeder sells to the store.

This is the closest reptile store to my house. Although the name suggest reptile zone there are not may selections of reptiles. My biggest notable complaint would be the inconsistency with knowledge. Tony seems to know his stuff but some of his staff members could benefit from some training or at least spend some time searching youtube for proper care of animals. I was in the store to purchase some mice (which are overpriced) and overheard this young female staff member trying to sell a Ball Python but she was giving improper information on care. For the love of these animals I hope Tony can find some suitable staff to properly care for these animals. On a good note its always nice to see Sara roaming the store.

great customer service, very helpful and answered all questions we needed. Tony was amazing in setting us up with a jungle pattern pastel ball python and even pointed in direction of breeding, he loves his store and every animal in it! we came in with a bearded dragon we rescued and although she didnt come from his store, he helped look her over and tell us what we needed to get her back in good health. we will return for all our needs.

I was thrilled to find a reptile store close to my house. The workers were nice and well knowledged. I think it is important to have someone that can answer questions on how to take care of a pet. They also have a nice variety reptiles to choose from. Great prices and clean, definitly somewhere we are going to visit often.

A shame that the store had to downsize but yet is trying to cram more and more into it. The appeal is just not there any more. One thing does stay awesome, Toni. His LOVE of animals and honest nature is what keeps me going back. Felicia and her easy going nature makes it a pleasure to do business.

This place is by far the BEST pet store on the peninsula!!! The owner is terrific and extremely knowledgeable. The saltwater fish selection is incredible and excellently taken care of. This is the ONLY place I will buy marine fish from. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ANY PET NEEDS!!

Great customer service! Awesome selection of reptiles. The smell was overwhelming at first, but the attendant informed me that they are relocating to a bigger place, so I think that will make a difference. Looking forward to visiting when they do!

Reptiles were kept in poor condition. Not given what they need. They either looked sickly and dying, or obese and depressed. Surprised anything was alive in there. Nothing in that store was taken care of properly. Will not be going there ever again.

Very high prices and many of the reptiles are being kept in tanks that they can barely turn around in, which to me, is abusive. Terrible service, and terrible ethics.
