I have been shopping here for many years. I have seen the good, the bad, and the down right hideous. I even stop shopping here for a long time, until recently when I had to choose between shop here or at the infamously racist Pet smart. To my surprise the staff they had changed and I was now greeted when I walked through the door. I was never without a friendly face and a lending hand. There has been many instances were I was just clueless at to what steps to take. There was not a person in sight that wasnt available to assist me and actually take time needed for Me to fully understand what was being said/explained. I highly recommend this store for anyone who truly loves their pets, great prices, and truly wonderful staff members. Yes, at times they are a little under staffed but that does not have an effect on their customer service!!! A huge thumbs up to this Petcos change and performance!!!

I got my rat there Friday. They did not know the gender of the rats on the phone they said they were girls but their boys. We already had girl we didnt know they were boy so we put them together and the next day took them apart because they were boys. They were grabed by the tail and were in a small liveing place with 7 other rats. The people were nice and patient. The rats we got are sick and skittish. They are loving but we Mir have to return them but we dont want to because it could be snake food but we mite have to

Waited with several other people in line at the register for a few minutes and there was no one to be found. Genuinely thought that no one was working in the building. Finally went and scouted someone out, the groomer also was no where to be found and someone was seeking service with them. Once someone was found there was no attempt to apologize for any inconvenience. Selection wasnt very good and layout was confusing. Will not be returning to this store again.

I dont think I would go back there ever again. I couldnt tell if they were open or closed when I walked to the front door because of the lighting. Once I walked into the building it was no one available to assist me. I was looking to purchase a fish tank and they had limited tanks and empty aquariums with not so clear water in them.

The staff are always friendly and there are always good Pals Rewards deals going on regardless of what type of pet you own. Ive never seen them run out of stock for anything, despite the popular location. The dog trainers are extremely enthusiastic about their work and genuinely care about each and every individual person and pet.

Bright, clean, wide will lit isles, good visibility, organized, up front they have kittens and cats for adoption from the shelter. They have birds, hamsters fish etc.

Average chain pet store. I would rather go to local family store like Simply Pets. But they do meet most needs for a higher price.
