Just had the rudest experience at this store. My husband saw what he thought was the line and we went toward it but saw some employees working at a display and talking. One of them said they werent the line and joked they were just in the way. We looked at some other things and cut back up that aisle to get to the registers because the line did start further up that aisle. As we cut through, I excused us for cutting through and the white guy said directly as I passed by him, "Yeah, just come on through," all sarcastic and rolled his eyes. He didnt say this behind our backs or under his breath to the other 2 guys but directly at me. I said, "Excuse me?" And he passive aggressively said, "Well when you see a bunch of work going on...." while looking down at his phone, like how dare us walk down their aisle while theyre standing there talking. I was so shocked--I am 42 years old and no store employee has ever talked to me like that in my life. I immediately replied, "Oh thats how it is?" and he said, "Yall are okay now." I replied that I was glad we were "ok now." I put our purchase back. I told the cashier why we were leaving and she seemed shocked and asked who had said that to us and I pointed out the white guy (I say white guy because he was with two black guys in red shirts and I had no complaints with them). I had a feeling there was no point in asking for a manager then because he had the air of a SNOT-NOSED OWNERS SON who knows nothing is going to happen to him and he probably was the acting manager. Thats really how you talk to customers who just squeezed past you on an aisle and then apologized? There wasnt even any active work going on (no stocking or whatever). We just bought a house close by and its a shame but we will not be back. I had even apologized for cutting through. I cant speak for the rest of the staff but that guy needs to learn customer service 101. He just cost the business a new customer and I will do everything I can to spread the word. Furthermore, it was my birthday and he went a long way to ruin the mood of our evening.

I frequently patronize the 138 Package Store because of their location, customer service, and product selection. I went to Bermuda last Summer and enjoyed Goslings Black Seal Rum. I was surprised and excited to learn that this rum is regularly stocked at 138 Package Store. Just last week I spent over $100 on the big bottle of Donjulio Tequila and some beer. Last night, a friend and I went to 138 Package and had a bad customer service experience. We approached the counter to check out with an available cashier. This young lady with glasses and long red hair was standing at the register eating a bag of chips. (Retail 101 teaches sales staff not to eat or drink on the sales floor or at the cash register) She was facing us and never acknowledged us. We asked her if her register was open. She said yes and put away her chips to ring us up. She handed a bag to my friend for her to bag her own items. I told the manager, Mike, that this cashier had a bad attitude, provided us with poor customer service, and needed to be re-trained. Mike offered up an excuse that she was not feeling well. He went back to the back as opposed to hanging out at the register to speak with the cashier. This experience may have been an isolated incident. However, 138 Package should be aware that too many experiences like this will send business straight to their competition.

If you want a selection of different alcohol beverages then this is your location. They also offer military discount to active duty reservist and Veterans just be sure to have your military or veterans ID card. Prices are quite adequate in the little bit on the high side but if you get the smaller size bottles the prices are more affordable. Just be safe coming and leaving because they do have police check point set up at that location on busy nights & holidays events.

They are absolutely Awesome with customer service. They get you in and out as well on a busy night... I asked for the location of a particular wine in the store, and Gerrell (not sure if spelling right), wouldnt stop searching until he located it for me. Thats EXCELLENT customer service in my opinion. And it was late at the time. I Really appreciate you guys!! And Ill Definitely be back!!

Wrong price items on shelf, once you correct the information with the employee they refused to honor you that price. stating that its illegal to sell below cost but its not the custom fault that you are putting wrong items on the Shelf without the right price. And also would not try to satisfy you by offering another item or something for you at a special cost. Think Customer Service!!!!!

I ordered a 1/4 keg a week before I needed it. When we went to pick up the keg, they had ordered the 1/2 barrel by mistake. Told them we didnt order the 1/2 barrel and we didnt need that much beer. We were basically told too bad, thats what they had.. take it or leave it. Very dissatisfied and will not ever go back again!

Store employees are very helpful. Tends to be a very busy location due to his proximity to interstate 75. But the store has security and the traffic is always well managed.

Do not frequent this store. I phoned the manager myself and told him they are price gauging. A bottle of Hennessy was over priced by $20.00. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS STORE
