Amazing service!! I live 2,000 miles away. My daughter arrived in the Cleveland area a few days ago, for school, and needed twin bed rails. I emailed a number of stores in the area, and within minutes received a response from Dan Geller, the owner of Fish Furniture. He said he had what I needed, just a few dollars, and if my daughter came in, he would show her how to set it up. He said he and his wife were going to dinner that evening near the area where my daughters apartment was located, and if I wanted, he and his wife would personally deliver the bed frame to her apartment. But my daughter went in, he showed her how to set it up, helped her load it into her little car, then showed her a map of the area and where she could find the other things she needed. She called me and was totally amazed at his kindness, and the kindness of his staff. Then, the truly wonderful part---she got to her apartment and locked her keys in her car. Dan was the only person I "knew" in Cleveland, and so I called him, and he told me exactly who to call and what to do. For an anxious father 2,000 miles away, how can I say "thank you" enough to a businessman who would do so much to assist on the basis of such a tiny sale. I wish I could publish this to the whole Cleveland area. People ought to be standing in line to patronize a business with such good people. We have been shopping at Fish Furniture at SOM and Mayfield for years. The store is locally family owned and operated -- its great to support an independent furniture store. The owner, Dan Geller, has provided us with the best customer service ever!! He definitely knows his merchandise! The store was started by his parents or grandparents. (My friend said she bought her first couch at Fish Furniture in 1974!!) Its a large two story store with an excellent selection of furniture and mattresses too. Over the years, weve bought a beautiful and comfortable custom leather couch, side tables, mattresses and an electronic recliner, which is the best!! If you have an elderly parent, who has trouble getting in and out of a chair (standing up and down is challenging), the electronic recliner is the best find! Dan sold it to us a few years ago and now its the only chair Mom sits in. It tilts all the way up, so its so much easier for her to stand up from it or sit down in it because all you have to do is push the button and the chair does all the work for you. This chair has really been invaluable. Also, one of the designer/sales person did an excellent job finding the right size and color couch for my parents family room. Everything weve purchased at Fish Furniture has held up beautifully and its no doubt our most favorite furniture store in Cleveland.

I bought a bedroom set at Fish Furniture in Mayfield Hts 20+ years ago which had a headboard and a footboard.. We just converted the bed from full to queen size and discovered that the side rails could be expanded to accommodate the width but not the length. Instant headache right? The answer was no....I called Fish Furniture and spoke with Dan Geller. Dan was completely understanding and made several phone calls for me. Later that day he called back and was able to get me all the necessary items I needed. I cant say enough about Mr. Geller and Fish Furniture! I thought I was going to have to go out and buy a regular bed frame (which wouldnt accommodate my footboard) and pay 150.00 and not be satisfied. Mr. Geller will get my repeat business undoubtedly. What a great experience and welcome outcome!

We just took delivery of 2 new bedroom sets for our children. We have been doing business with Fish for 10 years now and have now purchased furniture from them for 5 different rooms in our home. They are a pleasure to deal with. This is a family business who knows how to treat their customers. Their salespeople are knowledgeable and are very low pressure. Their prices are very fair and their products are high quality. When it comes to delivering what we purchased, their delivery guys are very neat and very respectful of our home, taking off their shoes without being asked, etc. I would highly recommend doing business with them and we will certainly be purchasing more furniture from them in the future!

Outstanding Service!!!! I bought a bedroom set from Fish Furniture in 2001. Recently my side rails on my sleigh bed needed to be replace. I went back to the store to purchase a new set only to find out that the retailer of my set no longer made beds. Because its a sleight bed the rails were custom made so there are no after market rails that could be purchased. Daniel Geller along with Chester Waler worked with me until we came up with a solution to my problem. I had purchased multiple items from Fissh Furniture during the early to late 1990s including a very elegant formal dining set, 25yrs after the purchase one the the chairs was damaged and the leg broke off. I took the chair into the store for repair, not only did the owner Dan Geller remember me he agreed to repair the chair free of charge. It was a difficult repair and took awhile but they did it with a smile. They as a company in my experience has always had the gold standard of customer service, cant be beat anywhere. Fish Furniture is very nice store - family owned and operated 88 years in business ! Theyre oriented on customer needs, Instead of company policies and rules ... They have great people + outstanding customer service !!! We came for 1st time with furniture problem from other store, Its not even their store Issue, but owner Dan Geller and his assistant Jim Simcox did great job and took great care of us, as customers, as well as solved our problem ! super nice guys working their - no wonder why they so long in business ! we cant be more happier people and customers ! There is not one negative comment I can make about Dan and his company. The level of service, the quality of their products and even the delivery staff are just tremendous. Over the years, I have purchased couches and tables for my family room, my entire dining room set up as well as two bedroom sets from Fish. In fact, just today I had a brand new Tempurpedic mattress delivered to my house and I could not be happier. We all know that we can purchase the same products from many stores around, but what the other stores are missing is the customer service. I wouldnt shop from anyone else!

I just moved into an apartment in Columbus and fish furnitures movers brought every piece of furniture I purchase straight down to the city. I was so thrilled with the service. I never knew moving could be so simple and efficient until I hired fish furniture to do it for me! They were truly accomadating. The furniture company makes sure that the process is easy for you. The movers, Chad and Tim drove down to Columbus and were so nice!! I love staying up to date with all the furniture and I found all the pieces I was looking for from fish. 5 stars!!
