I ordered furniture damn near 4 months ago. Did everything they said as far as communicating in advance for delivery. It seemed that Adam really had great customer service until it was time for my furniture to be delivered. I went in when they opened to make sure everything was accurate, nd it seems it was. I called off to wait at home all day for my furniture to be delivered. They never give you a time frame as to when the furniture will be delivered. Nor will they give you a phone number to whos delivering. Its a whole process of not knowing nd lying to comfort you. I called once every 3 hours to make sure I wouldnt have to sleep on the floor nd guess what, furniture never arrived. Only to have to call off the next day to have my furniture delivered at 7pm. Then to get a call right before telling me the living room set I wanted was ripped so they gave me a similar one which was fine w me. But once it got here it was to big to fit. So of course it got sent back nd I went to pick out a new set the very next day nd was promised same day delivery. Only to call off nd be sitting here waiting on my furniture once again. Not to mention paying 90 for the delivery boys to deliver the furniture not delivered nd set up. They seriously only put the furniture in the designated area nd thats it. This place is really a joke. Not to mention I was offered 20% off my next order as if I would ever do business with this place again.

Horrible horrible horrible!!!! I put a bedroom set in layaway,paid it off this past Friday (June 3,2016) hoping for same day delivery;they couldnt do it because it was no longer in the warehouse because they sold it to another customer.Ok,Its business I get it. Then Adam the manager says they had to get it from Akron or whatever and we should be expecting a deliver by Saturday. We didnt get a call,no update no nothing! They never showed up.I call today(Sunday),I got hung up on,then I call again and the manager said hes working on it waiting on delivery guys.Im literally sitting in my new bedroom on the floor writing this message of complaint. There is NO STRUCTURE,NO COMMUNICATION,NO UPDATES, NOTHING! All they had to do was tell me the truth. If you cant deliver it until next week,next month whatever just say so and stop making promises you cant keep. I will be getting my money back I will never ever get my furniture from American Freight again! Oh yeh thats right I didnt get any furniture but you for sure got my $1,089. I would had to take you guys to court. So unprofessional!

Im having a terrible experience with this place! Ive been waiting on my furniture to get delivered since (Wed) its now Sunday still no answer to why its not been delivered. When I call I just keep getting the run around, they tell me theyre going to contact the truck driver and get back with me, then I dont hear back from them until I call again only to hear the same thing again. They wont give me any answers they just act like they have no idea whats going on and why it has not been sent out for delivery yet. I rearranged my schedule all last week because they gave me their word that my furniture was on its way then never showed up! I have no idea whats goign on and why they are lying! Its very frustrating!! Im going to call once again today at noon when they open probably just to hear who ever I speak with act suprised about the whole situation as if they they never knew what was going on or why...

I cant even give this store 1 star. Spent over 2000.00 on a bedroom set, mattress, and lamps. That was April 24. Still waiting for the headboard, foot board and lamps 06/11/2016 @ 8:05 pm. The first moving date was changed due to inventory at the Parma store, understandable. The date was then moved to two days later, on Thursday. That day we received the mattress and part of the bed, no lamps.Cant put the bed together without all the components and we are still waiting for the delivery that was suppose to be here yesterday. Nothing but a run around. I cant blame the guys delivering the furniture, but I will NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. EVER! When you spend as much money as we have then anything less than professional service is unacceptable.

I was in the willoughby location,Saturday Dec 19th, 2015 Salesperson was Mark. Shopping was easy because I knew what I wanted. . I was told they would set up my merchandise. Which was false info. They charged me additional 35.00 to set up bedroom. To add oil to my fire I noticed my leather sofa was ripped. Called Mark 12/22 same day delivery for replacement. SECOND delivery service showed up, I asked if they would attach the legs. He stated I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER FEE TO REPLACE DEFECTIVE SOFA. No one sorry about your purchase,no compensation. Just DRAMA. So to the individual who choose to shop at AMERICAN FREIGHT... DONT... its a FAST FOOD FURNITURE STORE.

I visited American Freight for the first time today. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. They have a large selection of furniture and seems to be good quality. I purchased a couch and I am very excited for it to be delivered. American Freight has free layaway, which is very convenient and I had to use since I have some moving expenses currently. I would definitely shop there again. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because I think a $70 delivery charge for 1 couch is a too expensive from Eastlake to Painesville...

Im a little late on doing this review but Chris was an unbelievable salesmen he knew the product and taught me a lot of of things about mattress, at no point did I feel rushed or pushed to buy my time at American freight was a learning experience fun & exciting all thanks to Chris he had a beautiful connection with the whole family we all loved our time at American freight and our time we spent with Chris WE WILL BE BACK !!!!!! Very soon five stars hands Down

2/23/17 I came to this location and purchased $1705.52 worth Of Furniture. Was told that my purchase would be delivered Today2/24/2017. I called off of work today plus threw out my old bedroom set. At 3 oclock my furniture was on the truck, at 8 oclock my stuff was on the truck. 9pm I was finally told the truth, they are not coming. The slap in the face is Im only getting a measly $100 off of $1705.52 AFTER A DAY OF INCONVENIENCE

Went in just to look, didnt even intend to buy a couch that day, but the salesman Jeremy really sold us on it. He worked with us to figure out what kind of couch would work best for us and all the warranty stuff and delivery options, he was very thorough and convincing, made sure to address all of our doubts and concerns. Prices here are also pretty great, best prices for the quality Ive been able to find anywhere.

my first time going in the costumer service was terrible no one assisted me they kept putting me off on different people no one knew what they were talking about and Ive been waiting for 2 days for my delivery they keep giving me the run around then they have the audacity to charge $90 FOR DELIVERY!!!!!! and didnt even offer to waive the fees smh I wouldnt recommend them horrible terrible service
