I needed to report a claim for some furniture I bought two years ago but I lost my invoice. I called the Portsmouth Blvd location and spoke with Jarita at customer service. She was extremely patient, professional, courteous, and exceedingly helpful. She provided me with the lost information so I could file my claim. (this was difficult because my first and last name had accidentally be transposed in their system so it was hard to find) Based on this experience, I will definately return to Value City the next time my family buys furniture. I sincerely appreciate her professional and courteous service with a smile. Thank you, Jarita From Customer Service.

My wife and I went on a Sunday evening and although it was a little slow thete were enough strahd thete to help us. There is a room in the back where they sell clearance items, mostly miscellaneous crap like Leopard print ottoman cubes, but a few decent things. We ended up buying a love seat from the clearance room for $300. The furniture available includes sofas, chairs, living room sets, dining room sets, and beds. They also provide financing, though we bought ours in cash so I dont know anything about that process. The sales rep was very friendly and helpful without being too pushy.

I came to this store about a week ago and was immediately greeted and helped by Hannah Lesoine. She was very nice, personable and had great knowledge of the stores inventory. I told her exactly what I was looking for, and it was very specific, and she showed me what she had to offer and it was perfect! This is the second time I have come to Value City for furniture and I am very pleased with their quality of product so far. I will continue my loyalty to them and hope that I can continue being Hannahs customer in the future!

Terrible sales person made buying a clearance item a huge pain. She was uninterested and rude. We went to pick our purchase up and they hadnt even wrapped it and when we demanded it be wrapped for protection during travel, they threw a fit. We also had to lift the couch into our truck by ourselves. Wont be back.

I had a great experience when I went. I bought a beautiful cream-colored couch with an end table and an ottoman that came with cream colored seats, the sofa had pillows to go with it but the pillows did not go well with the couch. Debbie and Steve were very helpful and accommodated me with different pillows.

Large selection... however, in my opinion over priced for what you get. Maybe the clearance section in the back might appeal to some people, but it is the bottom of the barrel back there. All of it is priced like solid wood but is cheap construction.

I had a wonderful time picking out furniture with my brother. The furniture and displays were wonderful, but the best part was having a sweet woman named Barbara help us out. If you come here, ask for her!
