We purchased a leather loveseat and sofa at this location in the fall 2014. Within a few weeks, we noticed the leather discoloring badly in several areas. Havertys did send a tech out to the house to attempt to fix these areas. Within several days, we noticed the discoloration in these areas and other areas as well. Havertys did agree to exchange out the set for us for a new set (same style). Within a few weeks, we had the same issue with this set. We went into this Havertys location to see what other sets may be a viable option and we were told by the customer service dept on the phone (in the store) that if we found something that day, we could exchange for something else. If not, they would send a tech out to evaluate. Being that we did not want to rush to make a decision and were short on time, we decided to let them have a tech come out and were told that they would most likely find that it was the same situation and be able to exchange. The tech did come out this week and told my husband that it did appear that the discoloration was due to the leather itself, but also tried to blame this on our dog. We have always had leather pieces and have never had this issue (even with our dog). Now we are being told that our purchased warranty does not come into play and we are stuck with these brown leather pieces that are turning ORANGE. Very misleading information between store and customer service.

Terrible Product. We spent over $2,000 on a sofa from here. When it was delivered it was missing a cushion. How does that even happen in the first place? When we called to have the item shipped we were told it would take three weeks. Three weeks later when our package arrived it was the wrong product. We called them again and they said it would take another three weeks for for the correct product to arrive. 4 more weeks later and we still do not have a complete couch. We called customer service and they were the least helpful people I have ever dealt with. They could give no time frames or options without "filling the correct paperwork first." So again we were left with blind options. The supervisor was rude and condescending. After all of this we had an additional problem of one of the cushion covers already showing wear and another cushion showing discoloration. We are still waiting for those replacements to arrive as well. To sum this up. We are still missing a third of our couch, one third of the couch ripped for no reason, and another third is discolored for no apparent reason. Do not buy from this store.

The leather sectional I bought for my son and daughter in law started peeling after 2 months. I bought the guardsman protection which was useless and was later told by an employee never to buy their warranty because they dont stand behind things. I was promised by the store manager, Scott, at the Allen Texas store that they would take care of it. Its over a year now and nothing has been done. I will explore every avenue to inform would be customers not to buy from HAVERTYS. Im in the process of furnishing an entire new home and HAVERTYS will not see one penny of that money. They will loose at least ten times what that sectional was worth. HAVERTYS if you read this I want you to know that I have only just begun. Im sick of the shabby way you treat your customers. DO NOT BUY FROM HAVERTYS!!!

Was met at the door by a professional and friendly sales person named Dawn who listened to what I needed. We found it. I bought it. Im satisfied with my product and sales person. I have had a couple random phone calls about my upcoming delivery... but it was already delivered. I called and let them know. Then the next week... another call and email about the upcoming delivery. Just called again to let them know its been delivered. Im still happy with my experience and they get 4 stars. Thanks Dawn!

HAVERTYS WAS A GOOD STORE FIFTEEN YEARS AGO. TODAY, THIS STORE IS A JOKE. HIGH PRICES, VERY LOW QUALITY AND POOR SELECTION. VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING IS FROM CHINA, MEXICO AND TAIWAN, WITH A FEW LOW END AMERICAN MANUFACTURERS. WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE WITH EVERYTHING WE BOUGHT FROM THIS STORE. BEWARE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH THE ALLEN TEXAS STORE AND FOR THAT MATTER, THE ENTIRE CHAIN.

Very disappointed in the customer service here. My husband and I were very excited about purchasing our furniture from here, however we werent given the correct information about delivery and availability. The lady also opened a credit card for us without our approval.
