I made my first visit today. I thought they had some neat things, decent prices, but was very disappointed with the customer service. It was not that busy for a Saturday, but I could not get much help from the employees. Most of the employees seemed rude and if you did not want to purchase anything right away, they did not want to help you. I think they work on commission, so they were looking for someone that was ready to buy NOW? I purchased 4 pillows and a very small table for a wall in entry way. It was not clear were to check out in the store, I asked two ladies in the art, picture, pillow area - where I could check out? They pointed to the entrance area and then I noticed someone else walk-up to them and they checked them out. Not a big deal. I checked out quickly and painlessly - other than having to give your entire address, phone number, name - it was quick process - I was told to move to the pickup area and there I met the biggest idiot I have ever met in my life! He asked: type of vehicle - I told him a 4 door sedan, he wanted to know the make and model??? Not sure why, I told him that I was picking up a VERY SMALL table. He persisted and I told him make and model. He said that the table wont fit in my car and I assured him it would fit fine. He told me to back up to the dock, when I got out of my car, Mr Idiot - yelled - backup all the way to the stop sign. I said, are you serious and he said yes! He was helping another customer with a chair and then looked over at me and said - I think the box fit, as young man was bringing it to my car. I told him, yes - I could fit 50 of these tables/boxes in my car. Mr Idiot - is in his mid thirties or early forties, dirty blonde hair and a little over weight. He was at the dock area, where you pick-up merchandise. Possibly a manager? Someone needs to train Mr Idiot on customer service and how to listen to the customer when they say something is small and will fit fine in their car. Not sure if I will return, based on the poor customer service experience. Dock 86 - You need to work on customer service, if you want to be successful!

I only give 5 stars based on our experience with Kevin Pederson. I would have given this place 0 stars based on the first 10 minutes we spent in the store. I grew up in this area but never in my life have I ever felt discriminated against based on what my friend and what I looked like. We came in ready to spend well over $1k and just needed help in solidifying our choices. We spent the first 10 minutes walking up and down aisles MAKING EYE CONTACT with the sales people (5 counted who I made eye contact with who were NOT with customers but chatting amongst themselves in the middle of the sales floor). Not even a smile or hello. FINALLY, as in my head I was making the decision that I would not let my friend spend money here, no matter how low the prices were, Kevin walked by and reversed his steps as he could probably see the frustration on my face. He asked if we were ok and if we needed help. I said we had been ignored for the first 10 min. we had been in the store and we came in ready for help. With no hesitation he apologized for actions that were not his and took full control of our buying experience. My friend and I come from commissioned retail sales positions and I can not express how much it feels good to give to a commissioned sales representative recognition and the sale when they truly earn their sale. I can only help him by giving my recommendation and referral. I would wait hours to work with him. He never pressured us into buying into anything but fully focused on making us happy and helping our vision of the furniture we were seeking come to life. He listened to what we needed and provided multiple solutions even if it required us walking all over the store for 3 hours. THANK YOU!

As we purchased the couch and chair, we sat and listened to a man dealing with the same issue as we are now. The foreshadowing here couldnt have been any more clear. Poor customer service response and even worse products. Our sofa started falling apart after about 30 days of it being in our home. The seams at the top of the arms are unraveling on both sides, up near the back of the couch, between your shoulder and elbow. We called and called and called, only ever got the machine. And then we when finally reached someone five months later, they said theyd been trying to call. So we had the technician come out and assess the situation, ten months into having the couch. Never heard back from the technician. I called and left messages, no one ever called me back. Finally I got someone on the phone today, one year to the date of when we brought the furniture home, and the technician and customer service department deemed the damage negligent on our part and that the warranty wouldnt cover it. Right. How did I know this would be the result of a year of waiting? Also, they charge $70/per HALF hour for labor to make any repairs, but they will generously pay for parts. So, $560 to repair. OR, get this, theyll sell us a new couch for $350. None of this makes sense to me. The manufacture skimped on how they put the couch together and by sitting on the couch, it causes the seams to pull apart, but thats negligence. Were still dealing with this, but Im so furious about this situation, I hope it stops at least one person from shopping at this business. Dont fall for the gimmick of "low prices" and dont be stupid enough to eat their cookie bait. They sell garbage and their ethic is atrocious.

Update: after I posted the review below, I was emailed and called by the general manager, Anita. She was upset by what happened with us and wanted to make things right. I stopped back into the store and Anita worked with me personally about finding us the perfect couch. She personally made a bad situation better. While I still stand by that it was a crappy situation to be put thru, I was very impressed with their dedication to quality service and to right what was wrong. Also, we did get the delivery service and those gentleman were polite and professional. If I could give 0 stars I would!!! Our sales guy was polite and nice. We were looking for a new sectional couch. We were looking to buy new but found a steal of a deal in the clearance section. After 90 minutes of going back and forth on whether or not we wanted that one or a new one we decided on the clearance one. When our sales guy goes into the system it turns out the couch was already sold. 90 minutes wasted time. Was told the sales lady who sold the couch works on the HOM side. Why cant their employees follow directions or simple standards. I am beyond disappointed. Not only that, our sales guy tried to get something to change but when it didnt he just left and said "sorry". Like, gotta move on to the next sale cause I just wasted 90 minutes not making money with you. Just horrible. NOT GOING BACK.
