Buying experience was great. We went through Bob. Low pressure. Bob alone gets 5 stars. Power sofa was delivered at the morning time window they committed to. However, Power Sofa had a defect. The moment they plugged it in, the right side reclined and was stuck there. They cycled the power, but it appeared the right switch was unresponsive. Delivery folks said theyd have a tech call us within the hour, and they went on their way. We waited for the call from a tech, but no call came.. After calling customer service and reaching a terse and apathetic representative who told us "theres no record of any call and delivery people dont do that" our previous "warm fuzzies" about our new sofa had dissipated. We were told a tech would call us in 1-2 business days. 5-stars up until that. Wish we could post a photo of how the sofa was left, one side stuck reclined and dilapidated.

We bought a whole new bedroom and had it delivered. It took 5 weeks to get our stuff in stock. Which we agreed to wait. When they finally delivered it, they delivered it like a bull delivers fine china. Scuffs and dings all over the wall. Flooring shattered. Scratches on the bedstead, which they said was part of the "distressed" look. They didnt know how to put our bedstead together and said the wrong rails were delivered. My husband went to pick up the "right" ones and they were the exact same. He had the bed put together in 15 minutes. I guess hes in the wrong trade. We got a 150 dollar gift card for our next trip to slumberland for all our troubles. Thats like if you get a salad with a severed finger in it and they say your next meal is on the house. Thanks, but Im probably not coming back.

I was visiting this place because I myself have the furniture lover bug, so I automatically like looking at furniture. However at Slumberland Furniture I got to see a wide variety of different styles of furniture, the staff were very, very friendly, and overall my experience was a positive one. I wasnt forced to walk around looking for help.

Sales staff was a little pushy. One sales woman told me to stop wiggling the bed I was looking to buy. Was just trying to see how sturdy it was. Very rude. But we did buy a bunk bed there. Got it home and found a broken piece. They replaced the piece with no hassle.
