I had bought a couch from the Roseville location and love it. However around the same time I purchased an entertainment center from the Woodbury location. This was a display model and the salesman had went over all the scratches and flaws prior to delivery. They did cancel the delivery charge since I paid for the delivery for the couch. When I received my entertainment center it was not the one I had looked at in Woodbury. It was missing shelves just like the display model in Roseville. I got a call after delivery and asked how delivery went. I told them it was missing 3 (half) shelves. They said they would get back to me. They called back and said it was a discontinued item and cant help me. My feeling is why do a walk through of the item if it isnt exactly the same one you are buying? So about a month goes by and I get a call saying they can get the shelves for me. I am thinking they are getting them custom made. So the gf drove to Becker to drop one of the shelves off to show them what it looks like and the dimensions. A few weeks go by and I get a call to pick them up. I get there and all I got was my shelf back and some glass for the shelves but not the actual shelves! I got a $250 gift card for our troubles but wasnt happy about the time it took to drive to Becker MN only to end up where we were before! So I spent over 5K on the couch and entertainment center and I do love the couch but next time I will never buy a display item unless I pick it up myself! I get that the shelves were no longer made by the manufacturer. What upset me was why do a walk through of the open box item and document all the scuffs and problems with the item if it isnt the same item that is shipped?

First of all, the whole reason I even shopped at Becker was because it was a brick and mortar store where I could test out the furniture before buying it. I found a really nice dresser there, with smooth drawers and dovetail attachments. When we received the item, the drawers were terribly sticky and many didnt close at all! There were no dovetails, just shoddy craftsmanship. The process of exchanging the dressers took about two months --unacceptable. Then the new dressers showed up with the exact same shoddy drawers that didnt open and close smoothly. So of course I rejected them and expected my money back. Heres the kicker. They are really nice and good at taking your money. But once you realize you need to return the UNUSED item, they dont get back to your phone calls. They keep making you wait, meanwhile I HAVE NO dressers because I got rid of my old ones in anticipation of these ones. The lady I was dealing with tried to get rid of me on the phone and claimed she would get back to me, even though they kept saying that without giving me any time frame. Most companies will accept returns for damaged goods with no questions asked. But Becker workers have to get approval, leaving the customer wondering for days if they will get their money back. These are big ticket items and so the money is significant as well. I had to continually call them and ask what was up with my order. They finally "approved" my return. Online shopping for me from now on.

Buyer Beware....Poor Quality, Dreadful Customer Service! Purchased a living room couch and chair. Paid quite a bit to customize the upholestry. Decided to purchase the additional furniture protection plan to be on the safe side as this was an expensive purchase. A year later, the fabric is fraying in areas. This is surprising as it doesnt get a lot of use. We discovered that the protection plan is utterly worthless. There are so many stipulations on it that you literally cant get someone out to look at the problem. The customer service representative at Becker Furniture World agreed that the company that provides their protection plan is extremely difficult to work with. Then why do they use this company? I tried to deal directly through Becker to get some resolution on it to no avail. Its over the warrenty period from the manufacturer. They dont offer this fabric anymore...blah, blah, blah. Their customer service rep does not return emails or phone calls. I thought shed gone into witness protection by the govt because there was zero communciation from her. Extremely lackluster and unprofessional. We wont be making any future purchases at Becker Furniture World. There are too many other companies that care about customer service with competitive prices. You may have a different experience but this has been ours. No more shopping at Becker for us!

Terrible customer service. Zero responsiveness. Will never buy from again! I purchased a dining room table and four chairs. I picked up the set, brought it home, and put together the entire set to find that three of the chairs have a large gap between one leg and the floor, causing them the constantly shift when you try to sit on them. I contacted Becker and was unable to talk to someone, but left a message. They responded two days later and requested a picture of the issue. Sent pictures and was told they would get their "in-house technicians to see the best way to get this resolved." That was two weeks ago and havent heard a thing from them since. I have sent e-mails and left a voicemail without any response. I couldnt be more disappointed. Edit 5/2/2016: After writing a negative review Becker contacted me, scheduled replacement, and exchanged the 3 chairs with ones that didnt wobble. Raised review from 1 star to 3 stars.

Just recently purchased a sectional sofa and the matching ottoman from Becker furniture world in Woodbury. We had Danyila help us with both purchases & she was ABSOLUTLEY amazing! She is the main reason I returned to buy the ottoman. She was such a fun, bright, bubbly person. She has an incredibly personality and she is extremely knowledgeable of the products at Becker! She made what is normally known as a stressful experience, an absolute breeze. Completely stress free and fun! I will defitnley be back to buy furniture with her in the future and as I continue through my career as an Interior Designer. However- Extremely UNimpressed with the store manager. Sat on the computer and made no efforts to help to us or even acknowledge us.

We went in looking for certain livingroom items. We wanted to experience the feel of them. We were not necessarily expecting to buy on that visit. However, the salesperson did a great job of listening to our furniture interests and tried hard to help us identify the feeling and level of comfort that fit our usage style. She was able to suggest things that we could try to narrow down our pick. She focused hard on finding the fabric decor that felt warm and inviting to us. She did not pressure us into buying. We wished the discount would have been greater, but we did not select from the floor and ordered for our items that would take 8-10 weeks to arrive. We felt very satisfied with our special order.

My husband and I went to Becker Furniture and purchased a new mattress. Our sales person was Mike and he did spend a lot of time with us. He informed us about the bed test that they have, which we took, and then he showed us every mattress that appeared on our list. He was very helpful; however, he went back and forth between us and another customer so we were left by ourselves quite often. He was very apologetic each time and we thought perhaps they were short staffed. As customers, we appreciate time to discuss things without a sales person hovering, but once we had made our decision it would have been nice to finish the process in a more timely manner.
