The Positive: This store is very large for an antique store, and has several large pieces of furniture as well as a variety of items from many different time periods. A lot of the decor and furniture is very high quality and truly unique. The Negative: Take this with a grain of salt, since I dont frequent antique stores often, however this place felt like a less organized and waaaaaay over priced Goodwill or other thrift stores. While the furniture was undeniably of much better quality, the rest of it was a mess. Coca-Cola bottles and glasses at over $10 per item, without being in any kind of special quality. So they were clearly old, possibly dirty, and not unique or special in any way. Honestly Ive found better quality items at thrift stores at a fraction of the cost, without having to dig as much!

Spacious and organized pretty good but the only antique store I have ever been to that doesnt allow the sale of anything relating the Third Reich which to me is kind of odd but in no way reflects my review rating. In my times at the store I have usually found several items to buy however I felt staff could have been more friendly to a paying customer. Being 100% honest, it felt like i was walking into a DMV not an antique store. 99% of the antique stores i visit i am greeted and feel welcomed to be there before i even make a purchase. During the three times i have been there i have made purchases and found something. With that being said i would still return.

You can find anything here. It is not filled with high end antiques, just a variety of collectibles up to some high end furniture. It is a collage of dealers, thus there is no one concentration. Worth the trip. You can go across the river and find one store in Afton Wisconsin also, just a short drive. After antiquing, walk to the South end of main street and walk the stairs up to the cliff to stroll by some quaint victorian architecture. Also see the B and B that was Jessica Langes and Sam Shepherds house on the North side of town along with the historic courthouse.

There is so much stuff here! I think you could spend an entire week in this store and still not see everything there is. The staff is very helpful and seem to know where to locate most everything, despite the massive amount of things in the store. There is definitely a mix of what I would consider actual "antiques" and just random old junk, but since I prefer to buy the old junk myself, I really loved this store and all the random junk everywhere.

I have been coming to this establishment since I was a kid and I loved coming here to buy coins for my collection. I will no longer be shopping here due to rude insinuations that I was there to steal. The employee working said that I couldnt be there to "look around" and that I need to leave because they have theft problems. Is that not the point of antique stores? To look around and find something that intrigues you? Offended.

Take the time to climb all the way to the third floor attic level! The furniture pieces are beautiful and theyre open to negotiate pricing. Midtown Antiques has a great selection of larger furniture pieces that you just cannot find all in one place anywhere else in the area. During my last visit they had just received some magnificent pieces from England that would be perfectly suited for any of Stillwaters historic homes.

Spent over an hour here, they have an incredible variety of antiques and other goodies. The top floor is nearly all antique furniture and is definitely worth a look. Some areas are narrow which makes it difficult to get a good look at everything but Im sure the staff would assist if asked, everyone we talked to working there seemed very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Shop is cluttered but both my husband and I found what we were looking for and had fun doing it while it poured rain outside. Really dislike that you have to find an employee with a key to open the cabinets. If the stuff is so valuable, why is it dusty and all jammed together in a haphazard manner?

Best antique store in Stillwater. Dont miss the attic level jam packed with amazing furniture. When I strike it rich this is the first place Ill think of to furnish my mansion. Super friendly staff up there too, always willing to answer any questions.

Unparalleled selection of antique furniture (for the Midwest) on an entire floor of this large high quality antique mall. Steve was great to work with and was super helpful in moving out a table we purchased.
