I have more bad experience than good at this store. We bought a grill this summer. They had the grill on display but couldnt find where it was stored. After a long wait, they found it, so we thought. After the long wait it was nice they gave us a discount on it. Took the grill home, the next day I put it together myself, which took me hours, by the way. Excited to grill that afternoon until I realized they gave us the wrong grill after all that wait! I called and found out they gave us the same brand, she style but more options and one more burner which made it a hundred dollars more expensive than what we wanted, which we got charge for. I would have noticed the charge if we didnt have a lot of other stuff we purchased at the same time plus we were on a hurry since we already wasted so much time waiting. After all that ran around they wanted us to bring the grill back. Did I mentioned I already put it together and the grill is huge! We agreed for them to deliver the right one 2 days later and refunded us the difference in price. Went to buy a sprinkler head after speaking to 2 different employees the insisted they didnt carry it I have to go online to order it. Since Im stubborn I went I looked around, sure enough they had all kinds of them plus the rest of the stuff i need to finish my project. Went to buy deck restoration chemicals, sure enough the employee gave us the wrong information. Yesterday went to buy drywall studs and screws plus the drill bit I need. Sure enough the employee totally got me the wrong size stuff and the wrong size drill bit for me to install it. I brought the screw from home that I needed stud for but still. If you dont know nothing about what your customer need then just leave them alone instead of acting like you know then ended up wasting my time for getting the wrong items. So frustrating!!!!

Attention to anyone buying new appliances. We bought all new appliances for the kitchen and went with LG because we were told we would get a $400 rebate, when we got home found out that was not the case. A week later we received our appliances and when we hooked up the dishwasher it wouldnt work the power is hooked up correctly and yet it acts like it doesnt have any power none of the lights come on nor does it flash any error codes. After calling Home Depot and waiting 20 minutes I finally talk to a manager name Ashley. Its now been 3 days and I still dont have an appointment for a repair man to come out and fix a brand new dishwasher. I tried to return it but for some reason they wont take it back and its not A as is floor model. What I have learned from Home Depot is when you buy new appliances youre buying as is. They (LG) (Home Depot) may be willing to pay for someone to repair them but dont think its going to be a quick process Ive wasted way too much time on a brand new dishwasher that never worked day one out of the wrapper! Not a chance I will buy anything from Forest Lake MN Home Depot.

Customer service didnt even attempt to help. I recently purchased a John Deere lawn mower. With the purchase I was to get a trailer with the purchase as long as supplies last. When I purchased the mower. No one had mentioned of the deal. I found out the day Home Depot dropped it off. I call to ask about it and customer service gal told me she assumes that they are out since I didnt get one. I asked if she could check and she told me to contact a John Deere dealer without asking first. Assumption to me means laziness and didnt want to help. Im not impressed with this as all I asked was to check as the lawn care department wasnt the one that assisted with the sale. I had someone from an outside department help and they may not have known about it as its not their department.

I LOVE HOME DEPOT!!!!!!!!!I I purchased a Rubbermaid deck box and spent hours trying to put it together. In frustration I called the Forest Lake store and talked to the manager. He sent a man who put it together in under a minute. Thank you so much. I plan to tell everyone I know about your excellent customer service. A few years ago my sister was visiting from Longview, WA. I was looking for cedar fence posts and she wouldnt even consider any place but Home Depot. Her husband is a cabinet maker. She was absolutely right. You guys are the best!

We went to The Home Depot to get some paint, painting supplies, and sheetrock. We waited at the paint counter a long time to be helped and there was no one around. We then went to the front service desk where there were three employees working on the computer. Not a single one of them even acknowledged us. They all looked up at me but said nothing. We decided we would head across the street to Menards and we are glad we did. We were helped right away.

Absolutely beautiful work!! Home Depot installed flooring for my dining room, kitchen, and hallway. The workmanship done by the Home Depot crew was outstanding and extremely professional! The flooring manager, Nick, and all the employees worked to make sure we were happy with the decision to use Home Depot. I highly recommend using their services!! Great work and at the best pricing we found anywhere.
