MUCH better than the Shop Rite in Piscataway. Im glad this one has opened up. Its closer, bigger, neater, cleaner AND they have Shop Rite From Home pick up service, which Ive been using for the past few weeks. My groceries have always been ready to pick up on time. Produce has been fresh, frozen foods were kept in a freezer until you arrive. The service is great too. If they dont have something you picked out online, theyll call you to see if you want a substitution. And the person who bags my groceries has been friendly. If youre doing Shop Rite From Home my suggestion is to double check everything, if you can. There was one time I ordered two fresh cilantro. When I returned home, I realized they gave me ONE fresh cilantro and the other was fresh parsley. Theres only been a few times where Ive actually walked around the store for a little bit since I mainly just go inside to pick up my groceries. But from what Ive seen so far, this place is huge, clean and bright. I like how they have those cart returns in the parking lot, so there are no shopping carts all over the place like in Piscataway and Edison. This is my Shop Rite to go from now on.

I really like ShopRite its my favorite store. But today I was so pissed off. I wanted to shop with my coupons and my gift card I was told that I couldnt combine all 4 of my coupons for one transaction. and that it was 1 coupon per household. which was a very confusing because when I went to the store first day it open the Manger said it was ok and that i could use as much coupons as i like. The manager said no thats not true, no said that. but he was the one that told me that in the first first place. I had to do four transactions to actually use my coupons which was very confusing and it just mixed everything up I didnt get all my items because the cashier was talking and never swiped my ShopRite card so I didnt even get any of my items on sale. I had to go to the customer service so everything can be corrected it was just a mix-up. I am very unhappy with my service. If youre going to go by the rules based on the coupons then do so. but if not then dont give a customer the runaround.

Dear management the staff near self check out is for help... when a customer needs help they should be happy to assist them not to embarrass them by making stupid faces. I was there today at 12:40 to get milk and some bread but I picked the wrong bread when I tried to cancel the item at the self checkout it did not go through then the lady comes and cancel the item for me thanks for this.. and when I was leaving and thanked her for help she made some weird face.. you stand there to help. Not to make stupid faces at your customers. Management please hire people who are patient and happy to help not who just stand there to make faces.

I like everything about this new shoprite.Only thing that I dont like is the way of entering and exiting from parking.Its really painfully difficult especially when they are very busy and you constantly have to watch ppl walking to and out from shoprite.Park avenue entrance always been bumpy since it was originally A & P thought Shoprite will fix it before opening.oh and you just cant make a left turn from Park avenue to oak tree.

This place is Huge, Clean, Neat. Everything is in place and organized..the majority of the cold products are inside a tall fridges. Veggies are WASHED, FRESH and organized in very visible and reachable places (not in every ShopRite). Huge selection of cooked food and sitting area if you want to eat there. Have a lot of parking spaces but the entrance and exit to the parking lot is awkward this is why I am not giving 5 stars.

This place has a great selection and large produce,frozen and a bakery and hot and cold buffet along with a cigar bar and dunkin donuts.The layout of the store is a little chaotic depending where you enter the store but theres plenty of staff to help.The main downside has nothing to do with the store itself but the parking lot it becomes a mess very quick and exiting is a test in patience and attention

Exciting new supermarket offering a wide range of products. From the store structure, seems like it was very well thought out. The cheese selections are incredible. Prices are traditional ShopRite pricing, but comparatively less expensive than other surrounding supermarkets. Convenient place to grab a bite while shopping. Location is convenient to both South Plainfield and North Edison residents.

Lots of expired items.. always check the labels, and check produce for mold. Half the Shadybrook Farms hot turkey sausage on the shelf this morning went bad 2 days ago... gross. Prices dont always match either. Take pictures of sale item prices to show the register just in case it rings up wrong. Only good thing about this place is the overall selection, plus its relatively clean.

While going to shop in Shoprite od So.Plfd I was very upset upon seeing a White Mercedes Truck taking up 3 parking spaces. Truly NOT a nice thing to do and VERY unfair to other shoppers. Where is the parking lot security? Is it fair to me? I dont thing so. I gladly went eslsewhere to shop. Shame too, its such a nice store.

Amazing grocery store, everyone was kind & helpful when looking for items. Best ShopRite l have ever been too! Clean, Beautiful produce, great prices too! Even checking out was amazing clean & cashiers were joyfully kind! Very impressive! Went with a friend that lives out there & it was great shopping day!

ShopRite in South Plainfield is currently under construction. Looking forward to shop where most items are lower priced than competition. Currently, I have to travel to neighboring towns (Clark @ Central Ave or Woodbridge @ Route 35)

their bread was old and i asked the guy when the next batch would be out he put it in just for me said they didnt plan on making anymore, handed it to me right out of the oven it was still fresh for hours. such kind people!!!

Very nice and clean supermarket. Its spacious with high ceilings. A buffet section for lunchers. There are also various restaurants to get food from. It obviously takes its que from Wegmans and Whole Foods.

Indeed one of the BEST ShopRite ever visited. Very organized, huge selection, very clean and very courteous and helping staff. If there are two ShopRites near me, and it takes 5 extra minutes, Ill go here.

A super ShopRite which opened 8 months ago. A large selection of food products.Prepared foods, plants, Dunkin donuts are also sold here at great prices. Nice restrooms and large parking area.
