I wouldnt even give these people one star! This whole ordeal has been a disaster! I ordered on the 23rd and was told my items would be here on the 2nd. The charge was pending in my account for 4 days so I called. I was told they "were in the middle of switching wearhouses and that my order wouldnt arrive until the 9th". My daughters FIRST birthday was on the 5th. I asked the girl to cancel my order and she said she did. The next day I get a shipment confirmation...a day later a customer rep says oh were so sorry your order will be there on the 3rd. Never got it and its now June 7th. I found out that they shipped to my cc billing address which is an address I moved from 3 Months ago...I have email proof of where it was supposed to go but was told that was a "glitch" in their system. I went to my old address today and...they dont have it either. I was told this was my error by customer service today...and I could only get a refund if I returned the "Un personalized" items. Really?? These people are awful. I really was excited to receive these items for my daughters first birthday.

I have been a customer of this company for 10 years and have placed numerous orders for party supplies and personalized items. My most recent order did not arrive by the date indicated on the shipping notice. When I tracked the package, it had been returned due to an erroneous zip code. When I called customer service for assistance, I was informed that it was "against company policy" to re-ship items that had been returned (even though I did not initiate the return). So now my original order is going to be thrown in the trash and I am being forced to re-order, pay another $80 plus an additional $25.99 in rush shipping charges in order to receive my items in time rather than the company just placing a new corrected label on the box and re-sending. I contacted corporate via email and they basically said the same. So ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK and do not expect any type of customer service from Birthday In a Box.

Never order from here! I ordered dinosaur themed things for my sons birthday party. The box came damaged. The pinata was broken, I ordered cups for favors and 4 of them were missing. I was missing two packages of napkins and one package was opened. I called the company who said it was no problem they would send me everything that was missing. They assured me it would be here on time. When I called them the night before it was never even shipped and they offered me no resolution. When I asked for a refund so I could go out and try to find the things to replace the missing items, I was told it would take 7-10 days. The woman was so rude and was supposedly the manager. To top it off the day of the party when I went to the dollar store to pick up the balloons I had ordered from the website 2 out of 3 of them had holes in them so could not be blown up! Save your time and money!

Worst company to buy party supplies from!!!!! When you order online they take the money out right away and DOUBLE the amount you paid! I called customer service and asked why they took more money than they were suppose to and they said it was their company policy. I asked when they reimburse me what they should have never taken in the first place and they said 14 business days! When I received the goods, I wasnt too impressed. When I tried returning unopened/damaged goods they would not accept it because their exchange/return policy is 10 business days. By then I was completely fed up! Never will I order from these unprofessional people again!

Never order from this place. They have a strangers name on my account. Also got a story that warehouse was changing. I never received product and never got a refund. I have been in contact with them for 4 months and they tell me product was received and refund was issued and I have proof it was not. Such a SCAM this place and I really do not want anyone to go through the hell it has been dealing with this company, should be ashamed of themselves. Even though it is only $27 I think I may move forward with a lawyer they should pay I cant be the only one this is happening to.NO STARS DESERVED BUT IN ORDER TO POST HAD TO GIVE ONE THEY SUCK!!!

If you are ordering from Canada (or other countries), dont waste your time. It has been 15 days (11 business days) since I placed my order - and it still hasnt arrived. The stated 8-day delivery guarantee doesnt apply if there are "customs delays" - which means that if your package goes through customs (i.e. if it is shipped outside of the US), there is no guarantee at all. I have since discovered that local companies have similar (and often better) products and prices - cheaper shipping, and actual delivery time guarantees.

Avoid this company!!!! I ordered birthday party supplies and paid for expedited shipping. The box did not show up, and when I called the company, I was told hey wouldnt refund me until I received the box. So I paid for party supplies I didnt receive and they wont refund my money because I didnt reciece them. Terrible company and customer service.

i would highly recommend using birthday in a box. I was able to order everything I needed for my nieces first birthday party. the peppa pig theme was unavailable at any stores near me so this was perfect. I received everything in two business days and it was very affordable. I will definitely shop here again.

I would greatly recommend Birthday in a box. I looked everywhere for a ballerina theme for my 5 year old daughter and they had the perfect one. They even asked the party date to make sure everything got here on time! Everything was beautiful, I couldnt have asked for more

Prior to purchasing, I contacted the company for information on the item. I was told what all was included. When I received the package, things were missing. I contact them again and they have changed their story and raised the price on the item! VERY DISHONEST COMPANY!

DO NOT ORDER FROM BIRTHDAY IN A BOX They debited my account for hundreds of dollars but did not proceed with the order and refused to return the funds. You would be better of throwing your money out the window - it is less stressful.

I was able to find a ton of farm themed items for my sons birthday party. I could not find anything locally so they were perfect! They had a wonderful selection and great prices! I will use birthday in a box again!

Horrible horrible service! My stuff arrived 5 days late after paying for fast shipping - still didnt receive my refund. They keep placing me on hold. Very dishonest. I feel sorry for the people working for them.
