I cannot believe the review from Sept 14th. My experience is totally consistent with the other reviews. Horrible! I cant believe its come to writing a bad review about someone, but these people are such crooks, its unbelievable. I ordered a costume approx. 2 months ago. It was such terrible quality, its hard to even put into words. It wasnt even fabric. Colors were also not as pictured on their website. I sent it back through their "free exchange" program, which should really be called their "were going to charge you twice for one item program". The costume I ordered was not available until 2 weeks later. I said that was fine. Then they called me after it was supposed to be shipped and told me it was still not available, and wouldnt be for 2 more weeks. Fine. Then later, I checked my credit card, and saw that I was charged twice for that costume - the one I hadnt gotten yet. The charges were from 2 different amounts. They tried to tell me that one of them was just an "authorization". I told them no, they were actual charges. They told me I had to fax them proof of that, and they would call me back that day. I faxed them within 20 minutes - no call back. Called them two days later. Theyll look into it and call me back. No call back. Called them again - 7 full days after original call. I finally get someone who sounds knowledgeable, and who, after 3 more hours, finally gets "a managers approval" to refund the erroneous charge. I ask her how much the refund will be for exactly, and she puts me on hold. Someone else picks up and says Sorry! This was just an authorization! If you want us to have your bank remove the AUTHORIZATION well need your bank information emailed to us. I ask her "do you or do you not have in black and white the fax that YOUR company asked me to send so that they could process my refund, that says clearly that it is NOT an authorization, it is a CHARGE?" She says "their system" only shows it as an authorization. So here we are again, back to 7 days ago. Wow. So they still wont issue a credit for a double billing that I sent them proof of minutes after they asked for it. Do not ever use them, b/c your $45 costume will be $90, and your $90 costume will be $180. Once that happens, theyre no longer the cheapest people are they? As for me, Im filing a complaint with the better business bureau and disputing the charge - not that theyll care.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE. Ordering from costume super center was a terrible mistake and was without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had in customer service. I ordered a pirate costume for a local event and paid extra for shipping to make sure it would arrive on time. Shipping was delayed due to severe weather in the area it was shipping from so I went ahead and had them cancel the order and issue me a refund because it would not arrive in time for the event. First and foremost I STILL have not received a refund for this costume that was never physically in my possession. I called about the refund and they kept telling me that it was processed; I got an e-mail stating it was processed but only for the cost of the costume not for the shipping that I paid a ridiculous amount for. I talked to my bank on several occasions went through my statements and transactions the amount never showed up to my account. When I called to explain this I was told by a representative and her manager that my call would be returned by the end of that day (this was on 2 separate occasions by the way, neither time was my call returned.) I have spoken with 2 different managers both rude and very unhelpful who both told me that they would not reprocess the return because in their system it showed that it was done. I tried to explain to these idiots that I NEVER received the money and that at this point they were stealing from me and the only thing the manager would do is provide me with the transaction number and told me to talk to my bank again, I talked to them 3 times. Even went into the bank and had them print ALL account transactions within the last 2 months and it was not there still is not there I explained this to the manager and all she said was " can you get your bank on the line because we have a transaction number" my bank was closed and they had they nerve to put me at a further inconvenience to somehow 3-way my bank on the line to tell this idiot no she does not have the refund. Costume super center stole $60 from me and priceless time. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! THEY STOLE MY MONEY AND WILL NOT RETURN IT! Worst experience ever.

My experience was Great! First, Im going to admit Costume Supercenter was my 2nd option after the horrible customer experience with Rickys Halloween. I ordered a Bright Sprite costume and a peter pan costume on October 8th from Rickys and after 3 phone calls promising my costume would be delivered on time, on October 21st I called and a online costumer support representative from Rickys told me to cancel the order because there was a problem with the costume I ordered. With 10 days left till Halloween I asked the woman if she could help me find a Rickys location where I could personally pick up the costume, mind you I live in the Bronx. She did not help at all and when I would personally call the stores they would not pick up after being on hold for 5-10 minutes >:[ I Googled the Bright Sprite costume and found Costume Supercenter and without reading these reviews, I quickly purchased the costume online with 3 day shipping. I then found these horrible experiences and became stressed again. Consumer, you should be aware that many people take the time to write a bad review! Many people who have pleasant experiences do not write about it. Well, I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH COSTUME SUPERCENTER! My order arrived super fast, faster than 3 days and it worked great! (My costume lights up) They also included a coupon that allows me to have FREE expedited shipping all year round! PLUS, the cost was 10$ LESS than Rickys! Even with expedited shipping! I WILL ORDER AGAIN! :D

My original order was placed on 4/19/17 and arrived on 4/27/17; to my dismay, it was the wrong costume. Not even close; wrong gender, wrong size, etc. I immediately contacted Customer Service who apologized and stated a replacement would be sent. We reviewed my order to confirm the costume originally ordered would be sent as it was for an upcoming event. Upon receipt of my second delivery I was shocked when I received the same incorrect costume I received the first time. I immediately contacted Customer Service at which time they apologized (again) and verified the costume I initially ordered was available. They were going to expedite the shipment to ensure receipt prior to my event; which was last weekend. Unfortunately, the event has come and gone without the costume I ordered and Im still waiting. I placed a call to Customer Service today and was informed that I wont be getting the costume as there is an issue at the warehouse with locating the costume - ???. The two incorrect costumes have been returned and I will be waiting for credit for my original order until they are received with a possibility of up to ten days delay for processing. This first and last experience with your organization has been a huge disappointment; between two incorrect shipments, misinformation, miscommunication, setting expectations that were not deliverable within the timeframe committed to and now having to wait for my credit just doesnt seem right.
