Seems like for the last year store has been going down hill; understaffed and understocked. Only when its season you can find more than one or two checkout lanes open and the store full of workers always trying to keep the shelves stocked. During the off season it seems they have been running on half staff if that and not keeping the shelves stocked or just mot carrying some items until season. This is why I am seeing more and more of the Islanders shop at Publix. The changes they made may work for them and the seasonal folk but they dont work for us Islanders. I just wish that Publix was on Pine Island then we wouldnt have to leave the island to shop.

Everyone is friendly and helpful. The man in the meat dept helped me with a question I had on beef strips. He told me which ones were more tender. I wish I had gotten his name but he was an older, thin gentleman. Very nice. Thank you. Trinh in the bakery dept helped me with some hoagie rolls as there was only one pkg on the shelf. She said she had some in the freezer and asked me if I would like those too. I said yes. She was very pleasant, professional and informative. Her and the meat dept man made me feel like Winn Dixie was more like a country store where everyone knows your name and is like family. I love Winn Dixie.

Usually a clean store, and mist of the staff is friendly. Prices arent great unless you buy sale items like BOGO. Pay close attention when getting checked out. I often get overcharged 5-7 dollars, because the sale items didnt ring up correctly. Also, frozen food often appears to have been thawed and put back in the freezer. They will contain a lot of ice crystals, and be stuck together. Watch expiration dates on sale items.

Extremely friendly n helpful staff ! Clean n well stocked. Beautiful fresh produce ! Deli meats n cheeses r great n well priced! And theres a great selection of precooked foods, like whole chickens or ribs, for those last minute dinners! Only downside is signs at end of aisles only tell you whats on closest 1/2 of aisle, not the far 1/2

I live on Pine Island and I really appreciate having this store here. They work hard at keeping it clean and well stocked with my favorite things. The staff is all ways pleasant and helpful.

Their deli staff does not understand what thinly sliced means. Its an ok grocery store for quick trips but there are so many items not carried. I go to Publix

Older store but well kept. It is the only chain grocery store on the island and the prices are good as long as you have the Winn-Dixie card.

Very clean, courteous help, electric handicap chairs, but no wheel chairs. If you cant drive an electric cart or walk you are out of luck!
