My sister and I went into My Eyelab 741 N University Dr, Coral Springs, FL store to see if she could get a refund because they did not meet her standards, as she is completely unsatisfied with her purchase. She spent over $466.00 on 2 frames. As the first person who spoke with us was supposedly one of the manager, we advised her that we wanted to return the glasses she sent us to a lady at the back desk. We went to the lady at the back desk and asked about the return to which she stated you would have to speak with the manager who sent us back to her. The lady at the back desk check the prescription and the glasses to ensure that they were the same as she stated they were and asked my sister to come to the back. My sister stated that she was completely dissatisfied with the purchase and wanted a refund. The lady took her to the back after repeatedly stating she wanted to get a refund. While waiting for my sister to return Matt walked to the front. I asked Matt if he was a manager to which he replied yes. Informed him that my sister was taken to the back after her constantly stating that she was dissatisfied with the purchase. She has had the glasses for less than 24 hours and not satisfied with the product. The manager is very rude and disrespectful Matt (man with the big beard) first he was very rude and condescending. He proceeded to go back and forth with me in from of other customers regarding returning glasses. He advised me that someone is helping her right now and completely ignored what I was explain to him. I advised him that the issue that she does not want to get re-adjusted or other frames the lady confirmed the prescription was correct in the glasses. I don’t understand what the problem is. Matt (the Manager) asked me well that’s why someone is helping her like I said. Matt asked me “how old is she” and “who are you” as if he was dismissing me and no longer wants to talk. I was clearly getting anywhere with Matt. I asked if I should call the customer service number to get a refund because this customer service experience is less than pleasant. Matt shrugged his shoulders and stated go ahead and walked away. We called the customer service number and spoke with a representative by the name of Rena at 5:39pm on 5/30/2016 and she stated they should just check to see if the prescription is correct and it matches and as long as she is within the return time. She ordered the glasses on 5/19/2015 and picked up the glasses on 5/30/1016 at 4:30pm. Rena provided us with a number to call back in to customer service tomorrow to file a complaint because the office was closing at 5:30. Rena stated the manager can honor the return. We advise the staff we will continue this tomorrow. We asked one of the other managers Kelly (Blonde Hair) the name of the Male manager and she hesitated to state his name. I said the guy with the Beard, she stated “Matt”? As we were leaving Kelley proceeded to inform my sister on different lenses and different frames and informed her that she still has 30 days to make a decision. My sister stated I informed you what I wanted to do I’m unhappy with the purchase as well as why she was unhappy. Kelly responded “But why are you unhappy?” “What are you unhappy with” after we have previously discussed this previously to different people one being another manager. She stated “I’m trying to make you happy by giving you other options and different frames to choose from” to which my sister replied “I want to return them and the customer service is less that pleasant”. Both managers were not sincere or compassionate towards our issue and kept trying to make US keep the glasses and did not processing a refund the money for the glasses. I asked Kelly are you saying returning the glasses for a refund is out of the question, with her back turned to me she stated “YES” BAD BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!!. SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY BECAUSE IT’S A COMPLETE FRAUD. THE REFUND POLICY IS NON EFFECTIVE!!!! OUT $466.66 THAT WE CANNOT GET BACK.

Went here for an Eye Exam and Glasses. This place was the worse, the customer service is the worse, I would never go here again. I paid for their special where you get the eye exam and 2 pairs of glasses. With EVERYTHING I went through with this place I never received anything from them including my prescription. I would give negative stars if i could. I initially came in and did my exam, afterwards picked out some lenses and was told to wait until my follow up to order the glasses to make sure that my prescription was comfortable. Came back for my follow up advised that the new prescription was too much for me to deal with. They lowered the prescription for me and I advised the lady that was helping me with the glasses that I picked out 2 pairs already, she advised once again to wait a week and call her and let her know if the prescription was comfortable and she will go ahead and put the order in for me. I called a week later and was told that the glasses were put back and they have no clue which glasses it was and that I needed to come back (1 hour away from me). I went back in the location was told that their system does not show me paying anything, when i paid the 70 plus the amount for contacts and glasses (the thinning of the lens and all their little extras). with a total of almost 400. after being their and dealing with a rude rep (joel) I had enough AFTER 2 HOURS and walked out. The manager followed behind asking if there is anything that he can do to get me back in, I STATED "you should have offered your services while i was there but it was more important for you to talk to your employees regarding their payroll". I then left. I called the "corporate office" several times after that and had issues with getting someone to help. Up until now almost a year later still having issues with getting a refund or at least a prescription.

Since my original comment was taken down. This place is HORRIBLE!!! Dont waste your money nor you time going here. Yea I thought it was a great deal too, two glasses for cheap. Its true when they say, "You get what you pay for". This place is absolutely horrible. Customer service is a joke, when I was getting my glasses the kid was just going on and on about what he was saving me. The dr was some kid who was completely clueless and only cared about getting his d**k wet by the other girls in the office. When I was in the exam room with him, his girlfriend kept calling and texting cause she didnt trust him, neither should I. So after doing my test and putting in my script a few weeks went by and I got my new glasses. I put them on and it was a complete blur, which they said its my eyes adjusting. So a few hours went by and I couldnt handle it at all. Got headaches and eye pains. I went to take them back and I couldnt since the idiot manager wasnt in. I said how can you have a store open without a manager. So I came back later in the day and the woman manager was finally there. I told her I wanted a refund, she gave me every excuse in the book on why I couldnt. I told her then fix the problem NOW! So after going in the back to talk to a co-worker (complaining about me since I overheard her), she came out and said the DR will see you rightaway. So then I get the same moron from the first time and hes giving me mobo jumbo about my eyes crossing and crap like that. So they ordered a new pair for me. A few weeks later I get them, they were alright but now the lenses arent even fully attached to the frame. I asked them and the manager said it was normal. So yea dont waste the time coming here, spend the extra money and go elsewhere!!
