This is where the Salvation Army has relocated from the Sudley Rd location which is now empty. Although Google maps doesnt show it - it is right where the marker indicates - very large complex, not hard to miss at all. This is unlike many thrift stores Ive been to. It is more like a department store than a hole in the wall place. Everything is in pretty good shape, seems clean and fairly well maintained. That said because there is not a ton of rummaging the prices are a little bit higher, but still very good finds to be made. I found a table with two matching chairs, like new (got them for 90 bucks because I was buying several items) saw the exact set at target selling for 230. It was a great deal. They have extensive furniture sections, smaller housewares, good flatware selection and huge clothing (men and women) sections. Great store!

I have dropped by the donation area many time since their opening, the employees have always been curtious and helpful unloading my donations. Maybe a little gruff on the weeks of extremely hot weather but always curtious and helpful. As far as shopping I have looked around a couple of time looking for a certian Item but never purchased anything. I was impressed by the prices. I dont shop second hand much more but used to yard sale frequently and would say they were right in line. The clothing is gently warn and have vowed to shop there once my grand children arrive. I wouldnt expect them to give away the items, after all they are in the business to raise money for the less fornutate as well as offer reasonable pricing for them as well. Those of you who are complaining should back up and take a look around at the real world.

If you are looking to buy used items at TJ MAXX prices, this is the place to go! The store is very clean & nicely organized. The associates also appear to be very helpful, and they always have a security officer on staff. They do a great job of picking only the best items to put out on the floor; but unfortunately, their high prices are very concerning. This location takes donated items & sells them at or above their retail value -- with the exception of SOME of their clothing. It disgusts me seeing what they have priced A LOT of they items they have out on the floor. Im not sure to what extent they are upholding the Salvation Army mission, but I do hope they make an adjustment to make their items affordable for all income levels.

First Impression: Wow! Big & clean store with a good layout... Clothing prices are good (meaning comparable to or less than other thrift stores in the area), especially for kids. Did not take a close look at other items because I was short on time. Very large selection. Largest selection Ive seen in the area for adult clothing. Kids selection was excellent as well. Well organized - by clothing type & color - makes for a very nice presentation & pleasant shopping experience. Friendly & efficient staff. I am visiting all of the PWC thrift shops, & out of the 6 Ive been to so far, the SA store is the nicest - hands down! Cant wait to go back & very highly recommend!

I love going into this store and mulling around. You never know what youre gonna find. We give away massive amounts of clothing to the Salvation Army, and its nice stuff, so Im not surprised to find nice stuff when Im in this store browsing. Sure, theres not so nice stuff too, but like another reviewer said, this is a thrift store. Ive found two of my best dress shirts here for $7 each - a Nordstrom white dress shirt and a Jos. A Bank white dress shirt. Both are high quality and my favorites and have lasted me over a year without fail. Its also great for my kids, who grow out of stuff in six months at a time. Its a treasure trove - you never know, but its fun finding out.

A huge store that is always busy with customers. I shop thrift stores for the kids clothes and this store has lots of inventory. My big complaints are they staple their tags to the front of t-shirts and dresses (leaving holes in the garment) and their prices arent consistent. I purchased a pair of jean shorts (girls sz 8) for 99 cents, which was a great price!! Then I found a second pair (same size, brand, and color) for $2.99. Their kitchenware section has always been great and I purchased a set of glass cookware for $20 2 years ago.

We called ahead and asked if this location is currently accepting Christmas items (because we understand why if they arent, and wanted to call ahead). The gal on the phone said yes, and I verbally confirmed that they are accepting Christmas decor items all year around and she said yes. We drove from Warrenton to Manassas, waited in the very long donation line, only to be told by the guy unloading donations that they are not accepting Christmas items. Very frustrating! Waste of our time and fuel. They need to train their employees better.

I went by this store to look for a sports jerseys, and I was blown away at how beautifully organized the clothes were! The shirts, for instance, were not only sorted by type of shirt (a section of polos, a section of t-shirts, a section of dress shirts, etc.), but by color. It was a beautiful thing. The whole store was just so well-organized it would make somebody with a touch of OCD sigh with happiness when they entered. It was very simple and easy to find what I needed because of the time they spent making their store so neat.

While they have good mattresses and ok prices on them thier cloths r beyond aggravating they way they have it organized makes me want to pull my hair out its organized by color and not size I can find anything and its not worth my time looking cause when I do find something I like it will have taken me hrs.and wont be in my size I do not suggest coming here for cloths its maddening and the employees wont help u if ur not in thier section they just yell u to go to that section and look for someone else Grrrrrr I wont be back

Pros: Large store, lots of variety. Weds whole store is 25% off. Reasonable prices. Cons: large selection of clothes are organized by color, not size making shopping extremely time consuming. No outsize labeling of sizes either. As a result, I never whop there for clothes, only furniture, housewares and linens. I have found that they are starting to staple their tags inside (on the garment tag) instead of outside, but this is not consistent

Great store and organization yet lacks even common sense in management. Instead of pricing all clothes based on category, they price everything individually. And to make it the worst, they staple the prices to the clothes. I checked this out, they purposely damage the clothes by doing this. They dont staple to the clothing tags, they staple to the collar or just right on the front. Common Sense, use it.

Its always busy and the prices are pretty high for average at best furniture and the discs in the games and DVDs are often missing. Come on Wednesdays for 25% off already higher than should be prices to wait in line for 20-30 minutes. Not worth it. Better places are around. I dont know where else you have to wait 10-15 minutes just to give away stuff.
