I would think twice before giving business to this place! 1) they are not careful to what glasses they prescribe. They just want your money. My father in law got a prescription here...wrong glasses as he has the beginning of a cataract, so the glasses they prescribed are useless to him...but it did make them 189.00 that day! 2) i used my debit card to pay for the glasses...now they wont accept the return unless the card is present. Absurd....because of distance ! What if I moved to the west coast since the purchase was made? In a nutshell, absurd policies, expensive...wrong glasses and nearly impossible to return them! ***Just an update to this review: After many, many calls and arguments, they finally agreed to send me a check for the return...in 3 weeks! AND: they will send two checks, one to cover the debit transaction, one covering the portion of the transaction that was paid in CASH! Who reimburses CASH purchases with CHECKS to be sent in 3 weeks?!?! Yep, this place.*****

I disagree with some of the negative reviews. I have been going to Sears Optical in Coral Springs for over 20 years. They have always been very courteous. Dr Christiana is extremely thorough and professional. The technician always explained my options in detail and never "pressured" to do anything? My new glasses always arrived as scheduled and were properly fitted on the pick up day. A few times I tried some of the large national eyeglass chains to see if I could save a few dollars, but I always left without an exam or eyeglass purchase due to their shady tactics. My eyes are important to me and I trust Dr Christiana with their care.

Went because it was a "good deal"....bought two pairs of progressive lenses, one pair of regular, one pair of sunglasses. Had trouble with both pairs...werent measured correctly so couldnt see properly and had to have them redone. Had to change size of frames because first pair was much to large. All in all, have been back a dozen times in two years. Sometimes a bargain isnt a bargain!! Would discourage anyone from going to Sears Optical.

Had an eye exam and then took the prescription to have progressive glasses made. I had the glasses remade twice because they were never right. I had another eye exam elsewhere and the prescription was significantly different. Wasnt even close. The glasses then came out fine with the new prescription. Wasted time and money by having my exam at Sears.

Nice and helpful. Got what I needed. Time to order was slow compared to other facilities I have used, but the order was correct. Dr. Christiana was great. My son has to go twice a year - and they were awesome with him.
