This specific location has to have the most uneducated, worst trained, most ignorant employees ive seen in a while. I purchased two $700 gift cards to Home Depot and i took my daughters giant eagle rewards card with me so i could have two transactions and receive fuel perks on both, mine and her reward card. After they failed to understand what i was trying to do, she had only used one card for both transactions. When i returned to the store the manager laughed in my face and said " There is nothing i can do about it now..", instead of apologizing for her employees mistake. Its disgusting how ignorant and unpleasant these people were. I would expect someone to be somewhat trained and have a decent education to be able to comprehend a customers need and have a some what decent intelligent level to not laugh in customers faces, instead apologize. Very disgusted by these employees.

I would have given 5 stars but I had many issues with the firewood purchased at this location. I have bought and used the birch and regular firwood from Giant Eagle many times without issue. However for the most recent camping trip, firewood was bought at North Olmsted Giant Eagle and would not light or catch at all. It was very disapointing and frustrating. The fire starter was helpful but the wood seemed too wet because it would smoke but not actually light. Perhaps a discussion with the supplier or method of storage would fix this issue.

Expensive. I dont understand how a giant chain like Giant Eagle has prices on items that are well above the competition. Wait, I do know - They charge more because they have the fuel program for discounted gas prices, that the customer pays for with higher food costs. Clean store, good variety of items aside for a limited fish selection. Too much of the store is taken up by an alcohol section. Needs to be recognized internally to have food more at the forefront. Always long lines.

The store manager Dan Mayo is an arrogant man who both treats his employees like crap and doesnt know how to do his job. I feel obligated to share this information as I see him make sarcastic comments over his walkie talkie and tell very important and hard working employees they arent good enough. Honest to god anonymously ask the employees what they think of the man and you wont hear anything except what he does wrong. I will give this store 5 stars if he gets removed

There is a large variety of foods and brands to choose from. The prices are a little high but you get that money back with the Fuel Perks program. The staff is also very knowledgeable and very helpful when you are looking for a specific item.

Aisles were blocked by employees stocking shelves, customers in general seemed more rude than at other locations, checkout was slow. If you can make it to one of the other giant eagles nearby, it might be worth the drive to avoid this one.

They have a good selection of food items at a reasonable price and a state liquor agency inside. The butcher and deli workers were helpful and friendly and they actually had most of the registers if not all open during busy times.

Rude staff. The only reason I entertain this place its convenient. The lady that marks down the clerance is extremely friendly. The guest service women are unhappy. Maybe this store needs some ethics training.
