I already loved shopping at total wine for years but now appreciate them even more. I went to total wine to stock our wedding reception. I am not sure which associate helped me at the Roseville location but they were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He gave great wine and cocktail suggestions. He gave me the quantities and basically planned everything and even loaded the entire cart for me - what a breeze!! After the reception we had a few bottles left over...his calculations were correct we just had a lot more people NOT show up than expected. We were able to easily return the extra bottles and got some money back! What a great feeling not wasting any money throwing a big wedding event! Every staff member I have ever worked with has the utmost respect and incredible knowledge. Amazing customer service. I love total wine! Thank you for being in my life!

I just left this place and must say Im pretty disgusted. Im from another state and this was my first time visiting a Total Wine store. From the moment I walked in, a man followed me around and stood close by me as I searched for a particular type of rum. I asked two separate employees if he was security/loss prevention and they both denied him being so. I worked in retail for a long time in college and I know loss prevention when I see them. I was immediately targeted and watched like a hawk for no reason. I will not be visiting this location during the duration of my visit here. My advice to the store would be to stop stereotyping people of color. I have money and I dont need to steal anything. And you might want to get a new, more inconspicuous loss prevention person because he was terrible at his job.

Horrible customer service!!!! My wife went to buy Hennessy cognac for a present. The salesperson talked her into buying some other brand- said it was his favorite. The cognac had terrible reviews whereas Hennessy had 5* reviews. I took the bottle back to exchange and the woman at Customer Service tried to talk me out of returning it. I was amazed- never had that happen before. I insisted and received very chilly service at the register. Never going back again.

This store has taken over as my go to place for anything measured with a %ABV. They have a huge selection of wine, more stock than I can really comprehend. I dont drink wine. The "& More" is way understated. What I really go for there is the beer selection. Im nearly convinced they have more varieties of beer than I have hairs on my head(and Im 23 and nowhere near thinning). I never fail to find my staple brews and at least 5 or 6 somethings new.

We were looking for a wine to celebrate a milestone birthday. Id had Dom Perignon once, so I ask for it or something comparable. The knowledgeable gentleman that assisted my explained the differences with vintages from grapes grown in the vineyards and those who purchased grapes to make their wine, flavors and much more. We ended up with two bottles of Les Echansons. Now I just have to wait a bit for the birthday party to enjoy the wine.

Agree with all other reviews here about Total Wine having better prices than Bev-mo, however, they have a ludicrous policy of not letting anyone purchase soda there unless they are at least 21. Zero-tolerance policies are stupid and lazy. Thanks for wasting the time of legitimate shoppers trying to patronize your store and make a legal purchase.

Total Wine has the most extensive selection in the area. I mostly go in for the huge beer selection, but its also quite useful for harder to find wine, especially European wine. On the beer side, its nice that they carry most in both single 12oz and 22oz botles, and you can mix-in-match 12oz into your own 6-pack. Helpful staff.

The staff are very friendly, and helpful. I went in looking for a new scotch to try, after asking for help we were passed between two of the employees there a couple of times. The young man who ended up helping me make the decision was knowledgeable and I was very happy with the bottle I brought home, Grangestone

Better than Bev Mo?? The local ones for sure, honestly few Bev Mo stores compare to Mountainviews and Total wine and more handily beats most beverage stores. No question if you need booze in the area come here, staff will help you find what you need and everything is organized in an expected manner.

Yeah, its a chain, but the people really do make the difference. Helpful staff, and a good variety of stuff at good prices. If youre looking for a favorite new booze shack, Ill recommend it. However, I do need to remember that you can order online for pickup.

Better wine selection then BevMo. Good selection of local Placer Co. wines. Offer 10 cent wine tasting on Saturdays from 12p-6p. Very helpful and knowlegable staff, prices are pretty reasonable.

Amazing! Too many wines to even count, and the beer and scotch sections never disappoint. I dont think it is possible they dont have what youre looking for and at the best prices in town.

Disneyland for adults! The selection here puts Bevmo to shame. You can even get a little buzz from the frequent beer and wine tastings that they do here!
