after finding metal showing on my tire, I went to another place to get prices on replacing my tires and was treated most rudely and told I didnt know what I was talking about when I gave the man the size of the tire that was on my vehicle. So, I go to Discount Tire and speak to Joe. He was the most amazing man. Nice, polite, customer friendly and went out of his way to assist me. I ended up getting all 4 tires replaced instead of 2 as I had planned. Joe assisted in finding discounts so the full set would be within my budget as once he looked at the tires it was determined that while there was some tread on them, they were all over 10 years old (my car is rarely driven). Where the other store told me that the tire size I said was on my car was not even made, Joe explained that the tire size is not a common size therefore would have to be ordered. Since this is not the size recommended for my car, Joe suggested a different size that was closer to the size listed on the door plate. I could not be more pleased with the service I was given especially since during all of this there was a snow storm forecast and many people looking to get tires. This store will have all my future business.

Everyone I know loves DiscountTire, so when I went in today at 1pm at the Mt Juliet garage I was hoping to love it too. I got Joe at the front. When Joe saw my tires (one had a slow leak in the front) in the parking lot and told me my tread wear, etc. He proceeded to tell me that if they cant fix my tire that I must have it replaced by them. And then said it actually has to be both front tires, and before I said anything else he said since my Rogue has the capability to go AWD I must replace all of them (even though he said the back wheels were fine). So itll cost my $736. He kept saying that they wouldnt give me the car back unless the tires are all replaced. I said no thanks, Im not interested, I just want my tire checked. He said I really need to get this done..and I told him Walmart will do the same thing for me, but for $90 per tire with roadside hazard instead of $183 per tire. So unless he can fix my tire now and only fix it thats fine, but Im not letting you keep my car hostage for that price. He had the nerve to argue me and tell me thats false. Well guess what, you just lost a customer, Joe. Now Im at Walmart getting my tires checked at a fraction of the price.

Stopped by Discount Tire a few weeks ago to get some quotes. I went in about 545 and while they were very busy and about to close (didnt know it at the time) they were still very friendly to everyone that came in. After they had already locked up for the evening they even let one couple in the door and did not turn them away for a replacement tire. I went in today to purchase my tires and got the same excellent service. I did notice that a different rep took care of me and both he and the original one wanted to "sell" me the most expensive tires possible. Everytime I would want to drop it down a bit they would push whatever rebate or Michelin tire they had. I assume they get a spiff or something from Mich. I have been in sales myself and understand this but after a while it was a little aggravating. Once I told him a firm price range we were better able to move forward with it. He was even able to cut me a deal on the lifetime replacement certificates. I went next door to Target to shop and by the time I was done so was my car! Overall, excellent, speedy service.

I just got some new MB Razor wheels and Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors put on my F150. Even though the power was out 2 hours in Providence just before I showed up and they were extremely behind, they were still fast, courteous, and just plain friendly! In Retail you have your general standard for being customer friendly and a lot of times you do it because you have to, but I really believe these guys do it because they want to. I interacted with at least 3 guys both in the shop and behind the counter and was impressed by each of them. When they finished my new wheels and tires looked awesome. They parked my truck 5 ft from the front door and opened the door for me... SHOOK MY HAND and thanked me and complimented the look of the wheels on my truck. Then reminded me about all the free services that came with my new tires: rotations, rebalance, inspections, pressure check! I cant wait until I need new tires on my wifes minivan so I can go back! Keep it up guys, you rock!

Best review ever! I put 48,946 miles on a set of Falken Rocky Mountain/Wild Peak 31x10.5 tires. (50,000 mile warranty) For the price, value, quality, and performance they are the best on the market. I put these tires on a Jeep Wrangler Sahara and jeep wrangler owners know they give up luxuries like quiet, smoothness, and feel all the bumps. These tires are quiet, smooth and perform well off road as well when I hunt and need 4 wheel drive. ( I hunt a 2600 acre lease) You can buy a better , more expensive tire. But again a "value" driven person will love these tires. like all tires, toward the end of the treadwear they did get a little slick. Buy these tires. The guys at Discount tire Mount Juliet are the best. Ive spent over $3200. on wheels and tires from Falkens to Michelins there over the years.

This place is absolutely commendable. I needed new tires, and after many, many, calls between them and probably 4 or 5 other dealers I ended up choosing Discount Tire for a couple reasons: 1. Best deal... 20$ less than anyone around... 303$ out the door with a 70k, 5yr Hankook Optimo H724 Set of 4. 2. I was pleased with the patience and customer service that I received. 3. This place has been recommended to me by multiple people (over 3, in fact) by word of mouth. 4. Lastly, they had me back on the road within an hour and a half during their busiest time of day. I will be back. Thank you for your time and service. Edit: I had a P205/70R15 tire size. I highly recommend this business. As one last notion, I mostly had the pleasure of talking to Joe or Kyle.

Went to see if they had a tire for my 2014 Camaro. I had already been shopping prices so I knew the about range. "Discount" Tire not only told me the tire was going to be 60$ more than the highest priced tire I found, but they also told me I would have to pay installation. I purchased a tire from them about 2 years ago for my mustang and didnt have to pay installation...but whatever. I tell the guy no thanks and leave. He then proceeds to chase me down in the parking lot and says he can beat whatever price I found by 50$, including everything. I would have loved to have gotten that "discount", but Id much rather give me money to a company that isnt trying to get over on people. Principal won this fight.
