Great Experience... times three! I have arranged three leases now, working with Ken Krzak and Lou Scaramouzzo each time, and could not be happier!! And mind you, this is coming from a guy that has Managed and Trained Salespeople as my profession for over 25 years with several large corporations. Because of what I do for a living, I am often asked by my friends, family, and co-workers to help arrange purchases and leases on all different brands of vehicles (nope, I dont make a penny doing this. Its all gratis). I dont mind, and am happy to help, because I obviously understand the process and just happen to know a great deal about cars. In fact, depending on the brand of car, I know exactly which dealers to work with....and who to stay far away from! NOTE: I can spot the tendencies of the honest dealers (and more importantly, the dis-honest dealers), in less time than it takes you to read this review. I highly recommend Mercedes Benz of Westmont. My experience has shown them to be upfront and honest. I have found this dealer to be very legitimate. No old school tactics here! No buyer beware. No lift ups, bumps, or non negotiable dealer add ons. Just legitimate and straight forward selling practices to informed customers. In my personal experience, Ken and Lou have been a pleasure to work with and I plan to bring them more business going forward. My experience has shown me that the best and most honest car dealers WANT informed and qualified buyers! Here are a few personal tips I offer that will help you have a great experience when you work with a top notch dealer like MB of Westmont. * Do your homework and research first. Read, and understand, the fine print on any manufacturers nationally advertised deals. The truth is there, just read it for yourself. * Know the actual dealer trade in value if you have one. Dont make one up. * Ask questions! Verify the accuracy of the answers. * Understand all aspects of the "deal". Honest dealers like MB of Westmont will explain.They want you informed....not skeptical. * Negotiate in good faith with realistic offers and terms of the sale. * Credit Scores absolutely affect the the payment when buying or leasing. Know your Score! * The Finance Managers job IS to "offer" options such as extended warranties, damage protection on leases, etc. You should ask about & research these as well beforehand. Understand, he or she is expected to do their job. You always have the option to simply choose "yes" or "no". You wont be high pressured at MB of Westmont. I had a five-star experience buying our car here. My experience is going to be helpful for out of state buyers. Please read fully as it is not only about how respectful they were but also how they resolved an issue I faced. I reserved the car on Sunday night in the system and Jim Fico called me Monday morning. I explained my situation that I can come in only on the weekend. Throughout this week, Jim was very responsive and answered every single question that I asked. We were trying to find the best way to finance given the out of state deal and how to get the registration/tax etc done. On Thursday, I decided that I will go ahead with the financing that MB Westmont can negotiate for me. Zac and Jim got me an excellent deal. I had asked them to tell me all the extra options beforehand and we discussed those on the phone before I even reached there. There was no pressure to buy any and only every option was explained to me very carefully. That increased my confidence further. I had told Jim that I will not be able to spend a lot of time at the dealership so would appreciate if everything was ready. When I reached the dealership, Jim showed me the prepped up car. We took a test drive. Everything seemed good. He also managed to find me the original window sticker which I had expressed an interest in. All the paperwork with Jim and Zac was ready and it was literally a matter of minutes before we shook hands and keys were handed over. David Jr. explained all the working of this car, and I was out driving it back home. Very impressed. I had chosen to use the registration/titling services offered by the dealership/autonation. They sent all the paperwork and a check for tax to my states DMV. Some DMVs will mail you the plate and you have to physically go to some states. Here is the problem I talked about. We thought the plates will be mailed to me and kept waiting till Friday before the Monday when temp registration was going to expire. I sent an email after-hours to the dealership and Jim called me on Friday evening itself and explained that they are working on it. First thing Monday morning, I had a call from Jim Fico and a detailed email on what I had to do at my DMV. I did all that and had the plate with me within a couple of hours. All the paperwork was with DMV already and was in order. It was only an issue about my state being a walk-in registration state. As I said, some issues happen. But this made me realize that the dealership is concerned about the customers satisfaction even a month after the sale. I will not think twice before using their services.
I had a great experience purchasing my new Mercedes GLK 350 at Mercedes-Benz of Westmont. My salesman Zack Dobson was excellent. Originally, I was just in the dealership to look, unsure if I was going to be purchasing a new car. The dealership was very very nice and well-maintained. Zack came up to us and started talking to us asking what we were Interested in. When I told him I was looking for a small SUV he said he had a great car for me. We test drove the car and I was in love. It took me a couple weeks to make a final decision. Zack was not pushy. He just periodically check in with me to see how we were doing. The car that I test drove was sold, but a few weeks later, he called me and said he had the perfect car for me. We went back into the dealership a couple days later and purchased my new car. Chris was able to work out a great financing and I was elated. I traded my car in and they gave me the fair market value. The service department did an excellent job showing me how to work all the gadgets in the car, They handed me the keys and I was the proud new owner of a Mercedes-Benz GLK 350. Zack call me a couple weeks later to find out how I was doing and how I like the car. I experienced outstanding customer service, Every person that I came in contact with exhibited excellent customer service, And I couldnt be happier. Thank you again Zack and Mercedes-Benz of Westmont for everything! You truly made my dream come true. Then a few weeks later my husband decided it was time for a new truck. He had looked at a BMW on the lot when I purchased my car. He kept talking about it so I finally convinced him to give Zack a call. I could not believe it when he called me the next day from Zacks office and said they were finalizing the deal for his new BMW. I was like are you serious?? When my husband pulled into our garage that evening in his new car he was ecstatic! In the ten years that I have known my husband, I have never seen him this happy. My husband only had one key to his car. Zack called him a few days later and said no problem. We will order you another key --no charge! Zack made my husband and I feel like we were special and important people. He made us feel like we both could drive luxury cars. He is genuinely a respectful and confident man. He knows his craft and is good at it. We received a thank you card from him yesterday and that was like the icing on the cake. We have found a new friend and we will be forever appreciative of that!
