We have had the worst experience with this pharmacy since moving to Gresham. My brother gets his prescription here every few months and every time, it was a huge hassle. We would have to fight with them to get the script from the doctor which took up to 2 weeks to obtain. From there it took 2-6 weeks to get the prescription filled. Though they would tell us that it would be ready in a few hours and when we would check back they would say, try back tomorrow and continued this for weeks. Some of the issue was due to them upgrading to a new system, but the issue still persists TODAY after that. When checking on his script this today I got a lot of resistance and attitude form the pharmacist insisting that they have done no wrong. I do not recommend this pharmacy in the least. There was absolutely no true apology from them. Additionally there was an incentive of $25 Safeway gift card to move scripts to them which is part of why we went with them. The gift card does not work, and when taken to customer service they said it does work and the employee at the register just needs to key it in. When attempting to use the card the employee argues that keying it in will not work. The service at this location is really pitiful. While I was patient the first few times, the pharmacists attitude today was the last straw. DO NOT GO HERE. They do not deserve the business.

Wanna get in and out quick? Then avoid this Safeway location. Safeway in general is known for the slowest lines with the fewest cashiers but this location takes that to a whole new level. The lines are always long and the most cashiers Ive seen during the busy hours is three. Usually only one or two with lines down aisles and wrapping around corners. The manager must actively be trying to get fired so lets oblige him and steer clear of this location. Ive talked to two employees there and both readily expressed how incompetent the manager is and how unhappy they are.

Ive shopped at this Safeway and now I understand WHY the lines are so long and theres never enough checkers because I work there now. Next to Cherry Park Safeway we are the largest and busiest on the east side. The majority of all the problems is because of the scheduling. You also need to consider the customers whom, because theyve shopped there for so long they feel they are entitled to go to express with a $100 or more order. So please, before you speak negative about Gresham Safeway think of the things that are not in our control.

The store selection, quality of products, and pricing are fine, is the management thats as issue. Either corporate has this store squeezed too tight, our theyre planning on downsizing it soon. Always a skeleton crew, no matter what the days/hours. Their employees turn over regularly, but they seem to have stopped trying to actually rehire once they loose someone. Its getting more and more advantageous to go elsewhere if you want any kind of service.

Horrible, The "Manager" Her name was Marvel was rude spoke to people with attitude and was all around a very mean person. Made me feel unwelcome after asking about pricing. I was under the impression that since I shop there alot and was a paying customer that I would get answers without attitude I was wrong. Guess its time to find a new place to shop or wear something other then sweats shopping so I can be spoken to with respect.

This review is specifically for the deli. HORRIBLE!! Lunch time (between 12 and 1 PM).....one person working behind the counter (two of the deli employees were sitting on the curb outside smoking). This isnt a one time occurrence, this is 4 out of 5 times I go. Absolutely. The. WORST.

I refuse to shop at this location because of two experiences with the same cashier who had a bad attitude. Specifically- the older woman in the express lane with shoulder length, grey blonde hair. Nose so high in the air, I wouldnt be surprised if she fell over backwards.

Been coming here for 5 yrs plus, staff are friendly, although it can get busy, they try to get people through the lines, not like other stores where you see a line and a bunch of staff standing around not helping or at least act busy

The staff is always nice. Any time I get free items on my app it some times doesnt get taken off. Right now I have a free item on my app and they dont even sell tropicana probiotic juice there.

Great place to shop, just know that they dont always run multiple checkout lines, so you might have to be patient later on in the evening.
