My order (#610488, placed 6/4/2017, expected delivery sceheduled 3-7 days), took over a week to process and even longer to receive. When I finally received the package, there were items present that I did not order and three items that I did order, but were missing from the package. At no time did the company attempt to contact me to inform me that I would not receive what I asked for, and instead voluntarily sends me items I am not interested in just so they would not have to send a refund. I attempted to contact customer service during normal business hours numerous times and the automated system continuously stated that no one was available during normal business hours. When I was finally able to speak with customer service, I was informed that they were unable to help. I asked to speak to a manager twice and the representative hung up on me instead. I do believe it is time to take legal action. Businesses like this should not be permitted to continuously take advantage of consumer vulnerabilities. This is not the appropriate way to handle order processing nor consumer concerns. UPDATE... Interestingly enough, House of Beauty has taken it upon themselves to report my review from TrustPilot as being false...lol...and have my review removed by claiming my name is false and no order number was provided. It is absolutely real. I will be more than happy to furnish TrustPilot with any manner of proof deemed necessary. Although the Better Business Bureau has already found it necessarry to investigate this companys unethical background, I believe it is necessarry to report them further. What a tragic shame more time is not spent providing acceptional service as it is spent trying to disguise incompetent practices.
Absolutely DO NOT ORDER HERE!!!! I went online and made an order, thought - hey price is alright, not super cheap, but not horrible either. Immediately after my order was paid for, I received a confirmation email that said my item would be PROCESSED and SHIPPED the following business day, because it was a Sunday. I waited the neccessary 3-5 shipping days, and even added a few extra before I checked the tracking button on the email they sent me. It told me my item had not been processed yet. I emailed in, requesting more information... and received NOTHING. 3 days later, I emailed in AGAIN and got someone to tell me that it had been on back order, and needed to be shipped from the manufacturer. I asked if I could come in and pick it up, as their store happens to be nearby... no response. I emailed a few days later... no response. I called multiple times, only to get a busy signal. I finally got someone on the phone and there was no apology, no answers.. nothing but an attitude from a manager and the store clerk told me it had been shipped this morning, but I wouldnt receive a tracking number until tonight. I am so frustrated, I was going to cancel my order today, but now that it is en route, I am stuck. I needed my order for TOMORROW. Thinking 3 weeks was enough time, even for a screw up... I am very very frustrated. ***Avoid the headache, avoid the hassle, this place gets a big THUMBS DOWN from me.*** From the other review, doesnt look like Im the only one.
I placed an order on Dec 31, 2014. for a hair conditioner product I usually get via Amazon however it was unavailable. I googled the product I needed and saw it was available here. Once order was complete it said I would receive in 3-7 business days, still didnt come. I contacted the customer service line (after several calls) only to be told the manufacturer is out of Texas, which I dont understand since I placed the order with a company in PA. So on Jan 14, 2015 I get an email saying that my order will ship out in 4-7 days. No new tracking number as the old one was of no use and its been past this time and still no product delivered. I recommend do NOT order online from this company!!!! Very dissatisfied!!! This week I plan to contact again, to get a refund back to my credit card. This has been a mess for a simple order for items that cost $40. NEVER USE this company!!!
I wish I could put a negative sign in front of the one star that I gave this company... I am still waiting for a refund check for an order that was placed in April of 2016 and it is now November! The order was only for $20.00. I would hate to see what they would do with an order for a substantial amount of money... Every time I call they tell me that Ronnie has to send out the check, well Ronnie aint sending out any checks! I am tired of calling and waiting for something that looks like will NEVER happen! Its really sad because they would probably be a lot more successful if they would stop cheating their customers. I hope they treat their in-store customers better than their online customers. I will NEVER purchase anything else from them again and I do A LOT of online shopping!
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Today is Dec 18th, I ordered hair on Black Friday. I am just now getting an email with a tracking number stating that I will get my items in the mail in 3 to 7 days. I asked them weeks ago where my order was and all they did was send me a link to where I ordered the hair and it said that I paid for the hair. Did not have a shipping link. Did not have a tracking number. Nothing. WTH did they have to go to the orient to make my hair. Or is this one of those places where you buy the stuff and then they pay their supplier for it and then you have to wait for them to receive the items before they can actually ship it out to you. Never again will I leave samsbeautysupply!!!! From now on i will wait til they get the hair back in. Wish I could give them a -5 stars.
I WISH I saw these reviews before ordering! DO NOT ORDER ONLINE DO NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I placed an order on July 18, 2016… I waited 7 days and no shipment. I called requesting for a status and the rep said my order was discontinued. I asked why I wasn’t notified in which she could not give me a reasonable explanation.. Her response “oh we should have sent you an email”. I asked for a refund in which she said no problem “ we will issue a refund”. Today is August 2, 2016 and still no refund. I’ve placed MUTLIPLE CALLS dialing their 267 # and the 800# and no one was available. I called the store and they redirected me to another 267# and still NO ANSWER! I sent 8 emails….. and no response. I will be contacting the better business bureau.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. WARNING: Do not order from this company. First problem: Received an email 01APR2015 saying my order would ship in 4-6 business days. I also paid extra for two-day shipping. As of today, 20APR2015, the order still has not arrived. Second Problem: When you try to track the order via USPS, UPS, or their website there is no tracking data in the system. This is sketchy to say the least. Third problem: There are at least four different phone numbers for this company. One of them is disconnected. However, the incompetent sales staff repeatedly tells you to keep trying that phone number. Save yourself the headache and do not use this company.
