Lewis Silvano / Herb Chambers Jeep Danvers: FIVE STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I recently leased a Jeep from Herb Chambers Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Danvers. From the moment I walked in….to delivery of the vehicle a few days later….I experienced the best customer service I’ve ever experienced anywhere. By way of background, my family and I are loyal Herb Chambers customers who have purchased at least six vehicles from Herb Chambers over the years. Most of our experience has been with either Herb Chambers BMW of Boston or Herb Chambers Mercedes-Benz of Boston. While we’ve always experienced outstanding customer service from both Herb Chambers BMW and Mercedes-Benz, the level of customer service I experienced at Herb Chambers Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Danvers was simply off the charts. I walked in to Herb Chambers Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Danvers less than a week ago -- after having visited three other Jeep dealerships the same day. I was unshaven with a baseball cap on and wearing shorts / sneakers. I.e. my appearance did not convey that I was a particularly serious customer. Upon checking in to the dealership I was referred to Lewis Silvano who proceeded to sincerely and patiently listen to my needs and then recommend various vehicle options. Lewis then showed me some of the vehicle options, followed by taking in some information in order to present various leasing options, culminating with a very enjoyable test drive. Upon returning from the test drive, Sales Manager Will LaFlash joined us and assisted in presenting various lease options which were much better than anything I had seen all day at the other three dealerships I had visited. Moreover, Will and Lewis displayed great skill in exploring whether I qualified for additional incentives (which I did). They were extremely thorough in doing so. I emailed Will and Lewis later that evening telling them that I wished to proceed, and my car was delivered a few days later following an extremely enjoyable meeting with Finance Manager Zac Papidakis to finalize the leasing documentation. I’ve never enjoyed signing leasing documentation as much as I did with Zac. And there’s more: Lewis introduced me to Keith Shore in the Parts Dept. who went above and beyond by taking me out to his personal car to show me all weather floors mats I was interested in purchasing. Lewis also introduced me to Blue Team Service Manager Sean Staskawicz who answered my service questions and provided useful tips as well. While I was overwhelmed as a whole with the customer service I experienced at Herb Chambers Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Danvers, it was Lewis Silvano who served as the MVP Quarterback throughout the whole experience – and continues to do so in answering all my questions and providing me with extremely useful tips regarding everything from the vehicle to service to registration. Many thanks to Lewis Silvano and his colleagues at Herb Chambers Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Danvers for the best customer service experience ever....keep up the good work!

This is the first time I have ever written a review but thought I should in the case. I purchased my Ram 1500 at another dealer several years ago. Love my truck and not sure what I would do with out it (manage I guess). This is not a review about the Ram or a Dealer but for the service department. Sometimes the unsung hero of the auto business. From the start, I had just got on the highway at rush hour heading home from a long day of work and sitting in traffic, suddenly with no warning the truck started bucking and knocking. Me not being much of an an auto person other than driving one, was horrified as I have never in my long driving career had anything like this happen. I was so afraid of breaking down in the middle lane and causing even worse traffic than anything else, but I was able to keep the truck running with just enough power to get me off at the next exit and coast to the bottom of the off ramp. The engine only with gas being applied but had no power. What could it be. Had no clue, after about an hour wait for a tow, I asked to be dropped at the closest Dealer due to being under warranty - even paid extra on the tow to get to one which happened to be Herb Chambers. I have heard of them but I live much further north so never had an opportunity to use their services. Anyway, once the tow got there I was very surprised to find the service department still open at 7:30pm on a Thursday night. I am used to the closest one to me being closed at 5:30. When I got in I spoke with Sean the Blue Team Manager, and told him about my issues, and the extended warranty etc. He looked me up had all the information and told me that they are really backed up from the snow and all the service calls that he could not guarantee when they could get to my truck but he would do everything he could to get it done ASAP since I would be in a rental and it was a non drivable situation. He told me they would at least look at it and try to figure out what was wrong and then try to figure the repair schedule. The next day I was told a cylinder need to be replaced and that they had to order the parts, that they would work with the rental company to help cover part of the rental as is allowed by the warranty and they would know more after the weekend. Tuesday morning I was advised the parts were on the way and an approximate schedule to complete and that I should have the truck back by Friday. A bit disappointed but knew it needed time to make sure that everything was taken care of and I only wanted to get rid of the rental. On Friday the truck was done, I stopped off after hours and Sean had taken care of everything the rental and so forth. Even introduced me to the Team leader on the floor who worked on the Truck. Over all I had a great experience with the Service folks and am very pleased now 2 weeks after with the job done and being back in my truck. Thanks guys, I appreciate the work and will check out Sales next time I am in the market for a new Auto.

"Low Pressure - High Quality Sales Team" I wont try to speak for everyone, but I know that my biggest complaint in the past when looking for a new vehicle was keeping my blood pressure under control as I drove into the dealership. Immediately, I felt the weight of high pressure sales heading my way. I would try dealer after dealer hoping that I would find one that I could feel some sense of trust with. Until today I had not found one that I could walk away from feeling like I had made a sound decision. I am happy to say that today I have been very pleasantly surprised. My wife and I came in looking for a used (within 2 years) vehicle in good shape, low miles, and reasonable price. We knew this was a bit much to ask. We met with Mr. John Chiavaras in sales. Immediately Mr. Chiavaras impressed me. He listened to us. He thought about how he could meet our needs, and after showing us a few of what he thought were our best bets we drove away the next day with a 2 year old Dodge RAM 1500 Tradesman with a quad cab, sprayed in bed liner, tow hitch, low miles, low price, and in excellent condition. The truck even has sweet mags. This is an inside joke between my wife and I because I am nearly 50 years old. But thats not the point. John made us a fair and honest deal. As I stated previously, the key to this successful sales experience is that John listened to us. He even remembered specific questions about the warranty that I had asked him during our test drive. He didnt have the answer at the time, but when we returned from the drive he recalled my question and dove deeper. That is the kind of salesmanship that breeds trust and mutual respect. We had an equally positive experience with the finance department. I believe this was John Puleo that we dealt with directly, and unfortunately Im forgetting the gentlemans name that we first worked with. But this was low pressure, and fair salesmanship. The various financing and warranty options were put in front of my wife and I and we had the opportunity to look them over and make a decision. Our questions were fairly answered without the usual gamesmanship that is often experienced at car dealerships. We will be buying our next vehicle at Herb Chambers of Danvers, Ma. I look forward to meeting with Mr. Chiavaras again as well. He is a man of integrity, a former business owner who brings his business sense and creativity to his interactions with his customers. He quickly formed a genuine bond with us. Anyone can shake your hand, smile, and pretend to be "looking out for you". Mr. John Chiavaras is not pretending. He made it a point to demonstrate that he heard every word we said, and did his best to get us what we needed. When this was not possible, he tried to meet us halfway. When that was not possible, he was up front and honest about that too.
