This mall has pretty much everything you need in one place and is very accessible by public transit. Giant Eagle, Walmart, Ross, Barnes & Noble, and Five Below are just some of the great shopping they have as well as many different chain restaurants like Owners, Chillis, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Wendys, Subway, and my personal favorite, Five Guys. Dont miss Five Below because that place is a treasure trove of great deals. Waterworks Mall is also still considered part of the city of Pittsburgh so is under the jurisdiction of the Pittsburgh Police Department. Theyve done an excellent job keeping the mall safe and free from vagrants and miscreants. And when the holidays roll around this place decorates the whole strip with classic red and white colors and looks beautiful. This is all in one shopping without the actual day insanity of shopping at a mall.

Decent strip mall. Parking lot is busy when the stores are open. Includes a good selection of stores and restaurants including Market District (open 24 hours), Barnes & Noble, Wal*Mart (not a very good one - not as much inventory as most, not well staffed, employees not very knowledgeable or friendly), Walnut Grill, Eat n Park, Chilis, a 24-hours McDonalds, Bath & Body Works, Bed Bath & Beyond, Petco, Staples, a party supply store, and a theater plus more. There can be a lot of traffic congestion when entering and leaving the lot, and sometimes you have to park pretty far away from the stores.

The "WATERWORKS MALL" in ASPINWALL used to be a GRAND SHOPPING CENTER for Area Residents. It"s CHANGED Big Time over the Years. Some of the stores try to keep up w/ renovations, but it becomes COSTLY. The "WATERWORKS CINEMA" is turning into a RUN DOWN building. "WALMART" has ALWAYS been a dirty store. With NEW Eateries OPENING UP there, COMPETITION becomes more FIERCE. There are alot of stores there NOW, but there are RUMORS that CLOSINGS of some of them are on the HORIZON. But, HOWEVER you look at it, The "WATERWORKS MALL" is going to be here for the FORESEEABLE FUTURE.

Waterworks is a great shopping plaza. I worked there for 2 years, and I never had any bad experiences or anything of the sort. Some of the crowd can be a bit sketchy, but its in Fox Chapel, so it is ultimately a very safe, family-friendly destination. There are a lot of food options (Burgatory being my personal favorite), and a decent amount of shops. I love the Barnes & Noble and have been going there for basically my entire life. My only complaint really is the Wal-Mart; it is trash. Also, I always love the Christmas decorations that are put up each year.

This place has everything including the only ground coffee that I actually enjoy at the Market district. Several discount stores, a Barnes and noble, a Walmart, and a theater mixed in with restaurants and clothing places. The parking here is crazy though. Enough space but so many people that the traffic gets really bad really quick. Go slow and try to always exit on the east side of the parking lot because everyone goes to right in front of the grocery store and it just gets clogged up. Civil engineers out there, FIX THIS!!!

This shopping center is no safer than the Penn Hills Shopping Center, but dont dare say that to people who live in the *gasp* FOX CHAPEL area which is the closest suburb to this venue. The selection of stores and restaurants is mediocre considering how its close to such an upper crust area. There have been multiple robberies, abductions, and shootings at this center and it attracts a rough crowd all times of the day. Be warned its not safe walking alone at night.

Waterworks plaza is definitely a go to for a lot of people since its got a bit of everything. Around the holidays this place is the most craziest. It gets very busy. But I shop here almost every week or so either for groceries or anything else I need. Whatever you need they have a store that sells it most definitely. Its a nice area and they keep up with the cleanliness of the parking lots and stores. Its a nice place to go shopping, eat out, or even see a movie.

Seems to be doing good business compared to other shopping centers nowadays thanks to its diverse array of businesses. Clothing, restaurants, books, groceries and more can be found in at least one of the businesses within this shopping center. However, theres lots of traffic and the stores all all spread out, which means that you may need to cross the busy parking lot in order to visit some of the stores.

The Waterworks mall is an extremely long strip mall with many larger anchor stores like TJMaxx, Marshalls, Dunhams and Old Navy as well as smaller stores and eateries like Five Below and Burgatory. There is also a Giant Eagle Market District, and other stand-alone restaurants along the perimeter. There is ample parking, and it is a safe area with a lot of options for shopping and eating.

This place used to be pretty nice but its starting to feel like a ghost town. So many stores are closed and its a pretty long walk around. Its surrounded by a good amount of restaurants as well as a Walmart and Sams Club so it doesnt feel like a total waste driving out there, and the movie theater is nice. They have 7$ matinee movies

Good outdoor mall...Many stores... Very nice updated giant eagle market district with surprisingly good food at the cafe especially the burger... Nice selection of wines n beer and a nice bar area... Other notable stores are Wal-Mart Barnes and Noble and others.. Plus for dining... Burgatory should be tried at least once....

A massive, sprawling strip mall with nearly everything you could need for weekly shopping or specialty goods. Quick, local food; fast food chains; sit-down chains; grocery; theater; independent and chain specialty stores. The only drawback is the parking on the Giant Eagle side of the complex - get ready to walk!

This mall has unfortunately lost some business, most notably Old Navy, to the march of time. However, there are still plenty of spots to eat and shop. Plus, the movie theater, tho dated, still runs and plays the current cinema selections. Also, its on many buss lines so any one of any age can make it there.

The Waterworks Mall although not really a "mall" in the standard sense, but more of a long plaza, shopping center, or strip mall is a great place to do some shopping, dine or both. Many stores to browse and restaurants to try. If you happen to be in the area, I recommend a visit.

The Wal-Mart is a PARADISE! I dont usually see Wal-Mart this big and diverse! It is the size of 2 football fields. Very friendly staff. EXCELLENT PRICES! I am making this Wal-Mart a regular shopping place! On at least 3 transit lines. Routes 1, 91, and 75.

Lots of retail stores and many great places to eat. Convient parking, but can be difficult to get in and out of during rush hour. In desperate need of a high end store to anchor the mall. The Walmart needs to go, and be replaced by a Nordstroms or Macys.

Five Below. A Taco/Hut, the smallest Walmart minutes away from pittsburghs Billionaire. I guess Billionaire like cheap charging cables, refrigerator magnets, and and the option of a 5 layer "OR/AND" a personal pan pizza just as much as the next guy!
