I have been shopping at this store for over 10 years, I love the meat department and mainly come here for that reason. I also live in walking distance and usually return my cans here and then SPEND the money from cans at the store. Before I even got into the store an employee rudily approached and said the machines were down. Ok, no big deal if a machine is down, I understand, but coming from a CUSTOMER SERVICE perspective you should at least ablige me and take my cans and make my walk to your store worthwhile. So now you have an unhappy customer and I will do my best to avoid the store by all means! Which sucks, cause there are certain things that I rely on at that store. I have had several issues prior to this that Ive brushed off, but this really angered me.. Just the LACK of CUSTOMER SERVICE skills by the manager is very aggravating to me! Take care of your customers if you want people to come back!!!!!!!!! Retail 101...

This store altho not perfect, but has the nicest people working there... I like the meat department as they have smaller packages for those cooking for one or two...The butchers have also broken down a larger amount into smaller freezer sized packages... I like to experiment with spices, no shortage of spices in this store...they seem to have everything....also wonton and egg roll wrappers most of the time...Lastly I like the produce being self picked not pre-bagged so again I can just get one or two peppers or tomatoes as I need... They keep a tidy parking lot too...Only negative might be the bottle return system... Improvements there would be great....Long time employees tells me its a great place to work... the management has the consumer and employees in mind...

I am physically disabled and really appreciate an independent market supplying electric carts. Save-a-Lot cannot be bothered. I live close by and recieve then shop Hurons paper ad. I know my food and find most of what I need at Huron. Their meat department was horrible about a year ago, but they hired a new manager, and he really turned it around. Just cooked a 5lbs rump roast from Huron-$3.49 a pound. If you are looking for a great steak, buy their bone in Delmonicos. Meat manager cuts them 1 1/2 thick for me if I shop when he is working. You need to carefully inspect the produce. Unfortunately, some produce does not move fast enough-ginger root usually poor. But their fresh peeled garlic is excellent.

The people are very nice but I wont be back. Bought LOTS of meat that looked good and fresh but when I got it home and took it out of the package it had a weird smell to it so when I turn the meat over it was dark brown. Anyone that knows anything about steaks and things like that knows fresh meat is not dark brown. That was just way too much money spent for food I ended up not keeping. When I contacted them about it they said there was nothing they could do because I already left the store! So I guess they were expecting me to open all the packages of meat and inspect it before I left the store??

Great deli items, they are also remodeling. Meat is good, produce leaves some to be desired. Lots of authentic Mexican foods. Great bakery with cake decorating. They sell wine, beer, liquor and cigarettes. Its a neighborhood grocery store, they do have security so its a certain type of patron, but I dont mind. They have a lot of EBT/WIC signs, items like milk, eggs, bread, cheese seem to be more expensive than chain grocery stores, as well as pre packaged items. I like going here mainly for meat and deli. Its convenient on 59 to stop and pick up dinner on the way home.

The only sales that this place has is EXPIRED PRODUCT! I bought 9 items and paid $3.00 more than any other grocery store. The items i did manage to get on sale was a Bob Evans meat product, i got home an notice the EXPIRATION DATE was 3 days EXPIRED! 12/24/15- bought of there shelf on 12/27/15! BEWARE OF THIS STORE! They have no concern for the saftey practices the health dept regulations! CROSS CONTAMINATION and SONAMILLA is very present in this store!

The majority of the staff is very pleasant. I have had only one bad experience at this establishment. I have been patronizing this company for 20 years. Therefore, one bad experience doesnt deter my decision to patronize nor rate minimally this particular spartan store.

Smaller market, doesnt carry some of the lower fat items I look for, but they are easy in and out without having to walk a mile just to get to the store. Food prices are ok, I do like the salads from their deli and meat prices are usually pretty decent.

The security guard treated my wife like crap all over her putting bottles in the bottle return. He stole her slip outta the machine and said she wasnt getting nothing and while kicking her stuff and yelling at her. Dont ever go there!

I wont buy fruit from here again unless its bananas.. meat prices are good.. Staff is nice and helpful.. some freezer stuff is refrozen in my opinion after i bought some the produce needs help..
