I went to Colonial Ford for service with a strange issue on my 2016 Ford Explorer XLT that was purchased from another dealership nearby. I had brought the vehicle to multiple dealerships in hope of having a satisfactory resolution to my issue to no avail, none of the service departments were helpful. This ended when I met Joe Murphy at Colonial Ford. He was incredibly welcoming, polite, communicative, and caring. As a younger person my typical experience at a dealership is less than satisfactory, but the service team at Colonial went above and beyond to assure me that my issue was being looked into and documented thoroughly and properly. I will never go to another Ford dealership for service again. Top notch service! While there, my partner and I stopped into the Sales department to explore her interest in a 2017 Ford Escape that she had located online prior to us arriving. When we walked in we were politely greeted by John Collas, John conducted a thorough needs assessment, quickly found us the vehicle we were interested in, and went over every feature of the vehicle efficiently and accurately in a way that kept us engaged, and provided an excellent sales experience overall. Although we werent able to purchase the Escape that day, I will certainly be returning to purchase future Ford vehicles from John and will be sure to refer my friends, family, and clients to John for his outstanding service. I couldnt thank Colonial Ford enough for the service they provided. The experience I had at my original dealer had me considering other brands after a few generations of family loyalty to Ford, but Im here to stay. I cant stress enough how important and appreciated the professionalism of the team at Colonial was to me today, as a younger man Im often treated very poorly in a dealership environment if not ignored altogether. There was none of that at Colonial. Look forward to your new store. Thank you, again.

Purchased this truck at Colonial Ford in Plymouth Mass. Was meet by Bill Oneil. The minute I met Bill , I knew I wasnt dealing with your typical sales person. He was very honest and a perfect gentleman. I gave them my keys to appraise my truck and we went for a test drive. When we got back we started the negotiations. "Would like to point out that they gave me my keys back as soon as we got back unlike most places". Said I needed to think about the deal for a bit. I got up we shook hands and Bill said hope we hear from you I and walked out the door. Got in my truck and left .I wasnt pressured at all !! Said to myself what a great experience I just had. Called the next morning and we made a deal. Think it was more the staff than the price that made me decide to buy my truck there. The price was great and the staff Dell Roderick Shane Conroy and of course Bill Oneil is second to none. Would highly recommend this dealership.

Not happy. I called before I went in to make sure the vehicle I saw online was still available. Dwight assured me it was. I went and took it for test drive and I got back to the dealership and was told a mistake had been made. The car I wanted had just been sold. The car I drove was the exact same car, only difference was it had 3,000 less miles on it and they had mistaken it for the car I had originally inquired about. The only other difference? Price. The car I thought I was driving was $10,900. The car I was actually driving was $14,900. They would not negotiate with me very much on that so I left. The whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I would no go back there. Im fairly certain they new full well what they were doing. The good news is that I found the same exact car, same miles, with a couple features the car at Colonial did not have, just down the street at Tufankjian Hyundai for $2400 less.

Its very simple, if you are in the market for a Ford in MA, buy it at Colonial. I have never had a better experience purchasing a new vehicle in my life. John Collas was amazing, he is a car guy so he loves what he does and it shows. When it came to deal it was barely a negotiation it was more like a friendly conversation, that ended with a very fair deal for all involved. Shane in finance was also great to work with, there was no high pressure tactics from him about extras, just honest offers. Its obvious that Colonial has learned long ago that everyone can go through the sales experience and close a deal with all involved being happy. I hear great things about their service department as well, I live in Somerville, and am seriously considering driving down to Plymouth for service.

I wanted a used Ford F-150 pickup truck. I had my budget and could not go over it. I wanted a newer truck for my landscaping business. I looked at the website and they had 2 near my budget. I came in at 815 AM, before they opened and found my trucks on the lot. Long story short, with the rebates from Ford and the price they gave me, I got a brand new 2012 F-150 with steps and a 2 tone paint job and was only 4 bucks a month over my buget. They also worked with my bank and got everything done for me with no hassle. I worked with a salesman named Chris, who explained how every step of the deal worked. It was the opposite of when I bought my last truck at a ford delaer in Boston. I think everyone who wants a ford truck should try this dealership.

Colonial Ford Service is dishonest. They repaired my clutch. During the clutch repair the service manager said my front brakes needed replaced. They wrote the brakes up as a "Red Repair Alert." I told them not to replace the brakes because I had just had them replaced twelve months prior. I took my car to the Ford Dealer where I purchased the car to have the brakes inspected. I gave them a copy of the invoice from Colonial Ford that said the brakes were unsafe and "Red." The Ford Dealer where I purchased the car, said the brakes on all four of the wheels were great and wouldnt need repaired for at least another 20k miles. I would never let Colonial Ford work on my car again. I saved the repair invoices from both Ford Dealers.

I have purchased vehicles here in the past, however, my last trip in to look at a vehicle they had on the lot had me running for the hills. Vehicle was priced at a "too go to be true" price, needed tires, had some issues with reverse sensing system, needed the 4x4 system serviced, etc etc. This didnt scare me much, as I was hoping this would have been some bargaining points to get the price down. They would not drop the price 1 cent! Despite tires that would be barely pass inspection and a few other maintenance issues on the vehicle. The vehicle had been on the lot for about 6 months, and the way I see it in its condition and price will be going to wholesale before its sold on the lot.

Service is great, sales is terrible! I went online and specd a new F-150 and it was sent to them. I stood in the sales office for 15 minutes and no one greeted me. When I finally grabbed a sales guy they showed me F-250s and F-350s and had no clue how to help me with the vehicle I priced online. Most recently we bought a transit connect with an alarm, backup camera and key-less entry. We found out later it was aftermarket want key-less entry at all. They refused to make it right even though it was only $750.00 Sales manager is clueless as is all of sales. Go to Janel they will treat you right! We now take all of our personal and company vehicles elsewhere.
