This is how a potential sales call went today: Curt calls my Husband back and says "Come on down and look at the trucks" My Husband says I cant today I have my kids with me. Curt "Grow some balls drop the kids off and come on down" Husband says "Excuse me?" Curt says "Yeah I have this new Scion that just came in, Ill sell it to you for 11 grand and maybe youll get some bone tonight" Cant not believe what was transpired from a business! Once hearing this from my Husband it just did not settle easy to just let something like this go. So I called back to speak with the manager and his name was...CURT!!!!!! I was totally in shock that Curt was the manager of this place! I then asked the gentleman on the phone if I could speak to someone who was higher then Curt and was really getting a beat around the bush answer. I could sense that maybe I was speaking with Curt directly or one of his buddies. So I then asked to speak to the owner and the guy told me he wasnt in and asked me why but he wouldnt tell me his name. Then I could hear someone in the background say the GM is in. When I asked the gentleman who that would be he wouldnt answer me and handed over the phone to the GM who is Steve. I told Steve that we were potential buyers who called a couple of days ago for an inquiry and we received a call back from Curt today and said everything above that was said to my Husband. Steve sounded like he had a very long day and perhaps needed a nap. He said he would have to sit Curt down and talk w/ him about it and hear his side of the story!!!!!!!!! I told Steve that I would not just call out of the blue and feed him a line. He said that he has a lot going on and hadnt heard anything about this. Obviously not because in whos right mind would this be ok in. I basically left it with a word of advise...If they want to continue selling cars and making money then they need to fire Curt and gain customer service skills. I honestly dont know where this world is heading and its really too bad!

These guys are scam artists. They are the worst of the worst. Sold us a jeep that had been piecemeal together. More problems than I can list and WORST OF ALL TOOK ADVANTAGE OF US knowing our previous car had been totaled in a car accident. My husband was dealing with doctors and medical issues and they used the opportunity to their advantage. We needed a jeep replacement in a hurry for winter plowing and my husband knew the jeep they sold us had problems but they said "dont worry about anything, just take care of your health first". They wouldnt return calls, problems became nightmares and the jeep is sitting on a flatbed and non operable. They should be prosecuted. They also put inspection stickers on the cars they sell when theres no way they would pass a legitimate inspection. We have reported them to the attorney general, the inspection bureau, the better business bureau and we are seeking to prosecute them. These guys are losers in every sense of the word. If you need a good car and want to buy it from a reputable dealer, run as fast and as far as you can from five star. And I dont mind using my name at all because I stand behind every word in this review. I dont want to see this happen to anyone else. Please share with friends and family and save people from these shysters.

These people are absolutely unprofessional and speak to customers with complete disregard for good service. Using profanity in dealing with customers is unacceptable and ignoring a potential customers concerns is flat out bad business practice. I scheduled an appointment at a specific time to look over a vehicle that we had every intention of purchasing so long as it passed inspection. I arrived at the scheduled time and watched another person driving away with the vehicle that I was there to see. I addressed this with the "manager" and told him that he had now wasted my time along with the time of our mechanic that took his lunch break to stand in the parking lot waiting for the car to return. When I spoke with the "manager" regarding this issue his exact words were, "Too bad". I couldnt believe the level of disrespect that I encountered with this person. In all honesty, the owner did call me later to apologize and attempt to make things right which is appreciated. If people are looking for a dealership with a heightened level of professionalism, this is not the place.

If your like me, shopping for a car is like a dental appointment - it can be painful. Not with these folk, First went in to look around and the sales rep, Pete Findley gave me plenty of space to look around and ask questions. Test drove a car and told him the problems that needed to be fixed and gave me no flack about it. When it came time to negotiate, I was very pleased with the final outcome and didnt have to spend 4 hours doing it. Car was prepd and my issues were taken care of. About two weeks later I went in again with a mechanical issue to the front end. I half expected that they might push me off, but nothing could be further from the truth. They took ownership of the problem, gave me a loaner car, repaired the car at considerable expense to themselves. I have never bought a car from a used car dealer before but I would never hesitate to go to Five Star again. Kudos to friendly staff at Five Star.

these guys only care about one thing: weaseling as much money out of you as they possibly can, and theyll do whatever they can think of to do it. they took advantage of me and my desperate debt situation and financial struggles when i asked them for help, and now i am on the brink of bankruptcy because of the lies they told me and the scam they pulled on me. shopping here and trusting them was one of the biggest mistakes of my life, and after months of battling with them, now i owe money on two vehicles when i could hardly pay for one in the first place. also, their vehicles are greatly overpriced for the terrible shape they are in, even the loaners shouldnt be on the road. if you get a car from them plan on spending a lot of money on repairs because they either refuse to fix them or do a horrible, incomplete job

Do not purchase a car from these guys. I bought a used Rav4 and found out after the fact that the windshield washer fluid tank was missing. Literally, non-existent. I figured I could manage without it until I went to get it inspected and it wouldnt pass!!!!! I am in the middle of trying to get Five Star to take care of it AT NO COST to me, but they have been dodgy from the beginning. I have the upper hand because they put the sticker on in clear violation of the State Inspection rules so they better fix it or I will be contacting the State and reporting them, which is probably not the first time theyve been reported....STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!
