My husband and I have been looking to purchase a futon for our home in California. We could not find anything of quality in local stores so started to look on-line. Our hesitation there was to buy something like that on-line sight and feel unseen. We are visiting family in Iowa City and happened to see the Futon Store. Went there today and had the pleasure of meeting Jordan who - knowing we would be purchasing the item on-line since this facility does not ship- could not have been more helpful. He showed us the line we could order, helped us find the website, and were were able to actually see, feel and lay on what we will be ordering. A GREAT shopping experience! Midge & Dale

This an interesting review of my experience with the Futon Shop. A star for being a small shop in this day and age and another for having access to a variety of products. A big star for Jordan and teams customer service. The bed looks and sleeps great . This totals 5 stars but I had to take one away for the long delay in delivery that was nowhere near the original date. They did offer compensation for the hassle and we worked out a "pay it forward" arrangement with them that I hope gets completed.

I bought a nice futon from these guys a few months ago. They have really taken futons to a new level. Mine is stylish and extremely comfortable, as a couch and a bed. I got an awesome cover and it really makes the room! One of my friends got a futon from there, but noticed a crack in one of the boards. They came right out and fixed it for him. Truly a quality retailer, a prime example of why you should buy local and avoid the big box stores at all cost.

No doubt the best variety of Futons in Iowa City, and probably the best in the Midwest! Great prices and quality. It was so nice that they were able to deliver and help set up my futon. Very nice guys at the Futon Shop, top quality customer service from Owner Jordan and his team! Also, my futon looks great and is extremely comfortable. Would for sure recommend over any department stores futons. The best part is they are hand made and locally owned.

Van driver backed right out into traffic hitting my truck. When I confronted him all he could say was he couldnt see me. We were looking at each other through his mirror when he hit me! No damage was done as my truck is a tank. Luckily. I hope they sell futons better than they drive.
