Fred meyer is by far the worst company to work for now. Iv been a loyal employee for 4 years. Missed a total of 7 days since been employed due to medical issues with kids which is reasonable. They started me at part time 12 hours. Which i get 2/4 weeks a month. Never get over 30 hours. Usually 12 hours this week, 23 next, 12 again then 18-26.. I see employees come and go and the employees that leave that have 20 hour minimum hours a week they should pass to other long term employees like myself but they dont. They will hire a new untrained employee and give them part time 20. Instead of taking care of there loyal hard working employees that greatly need it. I have asked countless times but nothing. The new manager at gresham apparel doesnt do anything. She sits in the office doing nothing. Acts very rude to us employees. Leaves early everyday because shes on salary. And does not care about any person working below her. Hiring p.i.c is another thing. They could give someone the pic position who has experience and dedicated time into the company. But give it to very young 18 yr old no experience employees because they like that person more then you. Very corrupt company to work for. I suggest anyone looking for employment here to stay away. You will never be treated with the respect you deserve! This is why i switched stores and departments all together.. Hope this post helps someone who has a family and or an apartment/house that you are paying the bills alone.. Youll never make rent working here. They keep you under 30 hours per week to keep you from getting medical. And the less hours they give out each month the bigger check the store director gets at the end of year... Hope someone can use this and work for a company that takes care of there people ----> ❤ Brittany ❤ <----

The pharmacy is subpar. This review is just about the pharmacy at this location. In three recent visits, all were unsatisfactory. Visit 1: I brought in four written prescriptions. After waiting 20 minutes and returning for pickup, I was told that two items were sold over the counter, and cheaper that way. They offered to help me find them, but even they couldnt find one item. We eventually ended up back at the pharmacy counter and got both items from there. It cost less than four dollars for both. If they are going to try to save me money, they should be sure they have the product, and that its enough money saved to bother spending time on it. Visit 2: one prescription was faxed from doctors office. At least four hours later, I arrived to pick it up, only to be told that they didnt have enough of it, and it would be in two days later. They should have called me, I could have made other arrangements. They wont stop calling me if I dont pick something up in a timely manner, but they cant call to tell me not to bother coming in? Visit 3: I dropped off a written prescription again. Was told 20 minutes again. After 20 minutes, I was told "theyre working on it." After 40 minutes total, they called me up and sold me a prepackaged box. I just dont see how they could have been working on that for 40 minutes, By itself, I really wouldnt even complain about this, everybody gets busy at times, and delays happen. It was just the last chance I was giving them, and they didnt impress me enough to return. Hopefully your experience is better, but Im finding a new pharmacy next time I need one.

This Pharmacy is right next to Gresham Manor a retirement facility for the elderly, what an opportunity for Fred Meyer Pharmacy, but alas I agree with the last reviewer that stated it was "subpar"! I had dropped off extremely important medications, (one being a nitrate for her heart) refills for my mother on Friday, November 22, 2013 and stated I would pick up on Friday or Saturday November 29th/30th. When I arrived two of the medications were not available and was told that they were waiting on Dr. for refill and told that I should call the Dr., not a problem if I would have been informed before Saturday at 6 pm. I did not receive any calls stating there were issues with her medications, a service many pharmacies provide for long standing customers, I know Oregon City Fred Meyer had excellent service with this issue in their pharmacy. Since it seems to me that Gresham pharmacy doesnt want to provide decent and adequate pharmaceutical service to my elderly/disable mother we will take our business down the street to Walgreens or WalMart and also receive a gift card for transferring or prescriptions. Edited --I am adding additional information (increasing rating) out of fairness to the pharmacy, it appears they did send the doctor 3 separate requests on 11/23, 11/28 and 11/30 to Dr Dunlap with no response. I still think i should have been called and been informed of this issue but will increase rating to 2 stars for their thrice attempts at getting refill approvals.

Note: This review has absolutely nothing to do with the main building. I shop there all the time, and I never have any problems that are not my own fault. That being said, NEVER GET GAS THERE! I pulled up to a pump, and using a debit card while thinking I would be charged in debit, I asked for $30 worth of gas. A couple minutes later, and Im trying to buy something that I urgently need ASAP, or else Im deep trouble. However, I check my bank account, and theyve taken absolutely every last penny I had in a hold. All the man in charge of the station said was the same old BS, "Its the banks fault!" lie that so many other, shadier stations say. If you dont have any other choice, either pay in cash, or make absolutely sure that the attendant charges debit. To the management, it is unacceptable that your attendants do not ask to verify whether a card is debit or credit. Next time, Im just going to Costco.

If I could give no stars I defiantly would. I bought a jacket there about a month ago and only wore it 3 times before the seams started to come apart. I took the coat back and couldnt find anything I liked so I wanted my account credited the money back so I could go elsewhere to buy a coat that would not fall apart. I had my bank statement and the card that I purchased the jacket with that they said would give them info to look up the purchase. Then they said they could only give me store credit because it didnt come up, but I clearly bought the jacket there! I was there for an hour and had to call to talk to a store manager and then wait again for quite some time before someone FINALLY made the return!!!

I wanted help purchasing an item Friday, September 20th. Your staff was exceptionally helpful. Two young ladies, Renee and April, were not quite finished with their break but took their personal time to help me locate a staff member who could help me with the item I needed. Zachary also was exceptional in helping me locate the item, calling back to the person to get it ready to load in my car, telling me where to go. He even met me there to be sure I received it properly. The gentleman who loaded it in my car (I believe his name was Paul) was very patient and careful as he loaded it into my car. Thank you for these four exceptional staff and the wonderful serving attitudes they have.
