This supermarket is stocked with fresh veggies, organic produce, and a variety of your Asian fundamentals - from Sriracha to Vietnamese fish sauce! Since I cook with pretty specific Asian sauces, there are a couple I know they dont sell (e.g. light soy sauce, some Indian spices) but for the most part they have everything. I was pleasantly surprised that they sold premium beers, cheeses, and even my favorite tofu noodles! Their Banh Mi is pretty good - large and substantial. I prefer to come here for their giant spring rolls, and their deli meats. I also love the lady who works in the meat section, she is always so friendly and nice! Love the pork sandwich was is only $5. The head cheese can be purchased by the pound is fatty and delicious. Pro-Tip: They take credit cards (including Amex!) for transactions $5+.

Supermarket within 3-4 blocks of Dolores park. Get your sandwich, drank/drink/snacks here and then chill in the park. LOTS of variety, surprisingly lots of organic options in an Asian market. Its a straight up market where they have meat, fruit, veggies, EVERYTHING! Though I think most people are drawn here to pick up food for Dolores Park, alot of locals come here to shop for their groceries as well. $5 for banh mi, which is a great deal and totally beats a $10 banh mi that I saw at Bi-Rite market (jeebus!!!) Bread is good and fresh, fresh and good ratio of ingredients. Be sure to ask for no jalapeno if youre sensitive to spicy. Plus points for vegetarian options! They also have non-Vietnamese sandwiches that looked pretty good as well. Will be stopping by more often for my Dolores Park outings.

Its a decent supermarket with a variety of products across several cooking needs (Mexican, Asian, "American"). I appreciate the opportunity to get that kind of variety in the area. They also try to stock at least one "organic" or "healthy" alternative to most items. Their produce section is decently extensive, but definitely not priced as low as the Mexican supermarkets on Mission. People come here for their banh mi counter. Maybe my taste buds dont know banh mis but they didnt blow me away. Definitely a solid choice for $7 or so. They also take awhile as a heads up - theyre being made on the spot!

Theres two parts to Duc Loi. 1. Supermarket - one of the best in the area as far as dry goods/ packaged foods go. Their meat case often looks like its been left there for a while, though their produce is fresh (but not as cheap as some of the other fresh produce stands in this area.) 2. Quick snack - Toward the back of the store theres a food stand where you can order Pho, Banh Mi and other Vietnamese snacks. Everything Ive ever gotten here has tasted authentic, fresh and delicious - though the wait takes a while. Grab a banh mi, a cold brew and head to Dolores.

This is quite frankly the best market in town. Serves the entire community- Latin, Asian, original SF humanist organics, Technobot Foodies, and everyone in between. CHEAP and local organic fruit and veggies along with non-organic. Those hard to find ingredients like Galanga root and Lemongrass, best organic dairy foods and a huge meat and fish department PLUS fresh Bahn sandwiches. Great people own it and everyone working speak several languages . It is the perfect new Mission adapted SF neighborhood grocery . Its real and its diverse.

Duc Loi makes for an easy and full featured super market close to my work, but thats not why Im reviewing them. To be honest, what gets me inside the door more often than not is their cheap but excellent bahn-mi sandwiches. For 5 dollars (Yes! Five dollars!) you can get a classic vietnamese sub with your usual complement of pickled vegetables, jalapenos, pate, head cheese, and the rest. Slid between fresh and crunchy french rolls, that makes for a great lunch on a shoe-string budget.

The best option in the Mission for Asian groceries! This is where I can get my bok choy, gai lan, long beans, and even frozen wontons/dumplings/pork buns. They have lots of international flavorings/sauces. Keep in mind that they actually are pretty pricy for not the best quality. For example, they have organic yams for $1.99/lb, but half the box was moldy. At Trader Joes, the yams were only $0.79 each (granted they werent organic, but they definitely werent moldy).

Great spice selection and delicious bahn mi. I searched high and low for quina (cinchona tree bark) to make homemade tonic syrup. This is one of the only places in the Bay Area that carries it. The bahn mi are also pretty tasty. I usually get the one with fried chicken. They freshly fry thinly cut chicken breast and put it on a crusty piece of French bread stuffed with the usual banh mi condiments - pate, jalapeños, and pickled carrots.

Go to the banh mi deli inside and grab yourself a sandwich on your way to Dolores park, because we know youre on your way there already ;) No, but really the bahn mi sandwich is delicious. The meat is roasted well, and the bread isnt too hard. Its a little tough, but still really good. Be aware though, that they do add a sauce that somewhat resembles mayo, which can make the bread soggy and watery. Otherwise, its really good

Supermarket in the Mission District that carry asian goods more like Vietnamese, and some latin fare. Service can be hit or miss depeny on time of day you come. Prices are slightly higher than Chinatown standards. Aisles are wide enough to get by without bumping into other people. Specials of the week is advertise in store weekly. Best to come between the hours of 1-3pm.

This is an interesting store. Im always surprised by what I do and dont find here. I find this isnt a very good place to go if you have a list of groceries that you need to check off, but if you want to find some nice meat or some fresh vegetables, it can be pretty good. It has a very small selection of things like paper towels. Mostly youll just find food items.

Best Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches in the Mission (and in SF, IMHO but thats for another review). Produce and center aisle stuff is a little pricey compared to other Asian markets, but Duc Loi is a good place to grab groceries and food on the go. The deli sandwiches are awesome and the ladies behind the counter are so nice!

Great selection especially Asian ingredients but veggies and meat are not fresh. Duc Lois selection of Asian noodles, wraps, sauces, etc is awesome. I suggest to be extra vigilant when buying fruits and vegetables. Check very carefully. Dont bother buying meet here. It really does not look good.

Almost daily shopper. As a vegan they offer alot of great selections in produce. There are some international items I do wish they carried and would be cool if this location also delivered like the 3rd Street location. Other than that it is a great place for locals to grab some food.

High quality produce. Lots of variety. Especially good for meats and foods from a variety of cultures. There are some really good prices mixed in with higher prices for organic, Whole Foods-style products. I shop here twice a week and they have had everything I have ever needed.

This is a solid supermarket, but the prices are high. When I need flour and items beyond the typical corner store it is a destination for me on the way back home from work. The produce section is improving and its better to have in the community.
