I came to find how important Munster Donuts is to me when we made the trip Saturday of Easter weekend and they were closed. I sulked and relented to going to Dunkin Donuts across the street. Blasphemy. I will never eat another Dunkin Donut again as long as I have access to Munster Donuts. There is no comparison between the two; MD is clearly superior. High quality, homemade, fresh donuts that are less expensive than Dunkin. My favorites are Bavarian cream, cream cheese, glazed chocolate, sour cream, and the vanilla and chocolate angels. Do yourself a favor (or huge injustice if youre watching your weight) and visit MD, you wont be disappointed (unless they closed for a holiday. Otherwise theyre open 24 hours).

Live in Florida but was in Indiana for an interview for a day. Yeah rough trip. I was leaving the next morning. I stopped at a gas station in Munster and while pumping gas I smelled doughnuts. I knew it had to be next door to the gas station so after I pumped gas I walked next door to check it out. This was at 5 am btw. The selection of doughnuts was decent. . I had no idea what I wanted so I picked two doughnuts and they were amazing! Quick service (well I was the only one in there at 5 am) and great doughnuts. If I get the job I am going there often. Great place and much better than Dunkin but dont get me wrong I do like Dunkin but this place was better.

Went in today for a few donuts as usual and all went well, until the cashier made a derogatory comment about how it was wrong that the Confederate flag was being brought down. I tried to overcome the comment as it ended up being a debatable discussion, then as she gave me my change she flicked it at me. Im not the one to write reviews but i just couldnt sit here and do nothing about it. hope everyone else has a better experience.

I used to really love these donuts but lately their quality and selection in the evening and night have really gone downhill. It truly is hit or miss. Ive been told by employees that donuts are only baked in the morning and once they are out they are out until the next morning. Why even be open 24 hours then? A couple of weeks ago I went and all my donuts barely had any filling. Ill post a couple of pictures I took.

I have been away from home (Munster) for a number of years. Theres something about Munster Doughnuts that other doughnut shops cant even seem to come close to. Ive had the cookies and the other deserts that are meh there, but their namesake product always comes out perfect. If Im in the area and looking for empty calories, this is the only place that seems to be able to do fried dough right.

Since moving to Indianapolis we make the two-and-a-half-hour drive to Northwest Indiana for the best donuts in the state in my opinion they got to be there are plenty of places in Indianapolis but none surpass Munster donut Kudos Munster donut my kids wife everyone is a fan of Munster donut a definite must try place if nothing else put it on your bucket list

Fantastic! Its a locally owned doughnut shop of the kind that were popular before the rise of the chain doughnut places! One of the few of its kind. The donuts are fantastic, you can watch them make them and the only complaint I have is that its ruined all other doughnut places for me forever by how great they taste!

These are sum good donuts! I just got sum gas and saw them next door. It was a lot of people coming and going from this ltitle donut shop. I was curious so I figured I try one but I ended up buying a dozen. I dont even live out here. I was on my lunch break from a job I had to do. Im glad I gave them a try.

Theyre open 24 hours and they make the donuts fresh, there, all day and night. Ive been there at 3:30 am and the donuts and service were still fresh. Plus they have donuts the size of your face!!! Theybare soo good that my roundtrip drive is 145 miles, and i do that twice a month.

The best donuts in the region! These donuts are seriously on par if not better than the high priced ones found in Chicago. The sour-cream is my personal favorite. You know its gonna be a good day with a hot cup of coffee and a sour-cream from Munster donuts.

Best doughnuts my family and I have ever had. They actually make their doughnuts from scratch. Not have them delivered like dumkin (ha). Coffee is delicious as well. My dad has to go here when he visits from Florida. Just shows you how good they really are.

I love the fact there open 24 hrs I get off work at 11:00 pm and the donuts they sold me was made some time that evening not the day before . They were fresh and soft and delicious. I will return ,after all there just over the bridge from me

Remember when donuts were made fresh on site and the recipes didnt skimp? Thats Munster Donuts. Its very similar to the selection at Dunkin, but everything is really good! No bacon pomegranite, and thats a good thing.

The donuts are very good and clearly taste homemade, but the coffee leaves something to be desired. The staff was perfectly friendly and efficient for my taste. Certainly worth trying the baked goods here.

The donuts are still made on site, not shipped in from some corporate commissary. Great selection, fast service. I was there on Sunday morning, they were crowded but the staff kept things moving.
