This was my first time pawning anything at this location and probably my last. The staff was not bad, however, the prices and policies are definitely for profit of the pawn shop as they do not work with their customer on fees. I was one day late on picking up an item and was still charged a full month extra which I paid because of the contract I signed. I lived in Hollywood prior to moving up this way. Ive pawned twice at Crown Pawn on State Rd 7 down that way and even with the same statewide policies on fees and contract signed as this pawn shop they were able to prorate charges instead of charging another full month of fees. Now we all know that pawning in exchange for cash can be quite pricey so if a shop is willing to work with their consumers on fees thats an amazing feature. Ive even compared prices quoted by this pawn shop to Crown Pawn and a few others for an item I was interested in selling and this shop quoted me at about $2000 less than some of the others. Maybe this place ranked high in reviews because most of the staff is pleasant but its definitely not because its lower in fees as compared to other locations. Please do your homework and ask about fees and if they prorate prior to pawning with them. If they agree make sure you get it in writing so you dont run into any issues when picking up your item. Dont let the need for money take you to the closest place because there are way better options around and places willing to work with you.

My experience with GC is AND always has been nothing but POSITIVE. Your employees, seem to be picked not only for their abilities but also because they are human too. During the last few years due to the economy, I have made MANY trips to GC Pawn. Sometimes Ive even gone there to PURCHASE something and was pleased to discover that their sale prices on a wide variety of items, are very reasonable. I have observed - while waiting my turn - how all your employees treat your customers - very respectfully. They are all very friendly. That is the way I have always been treated by them also. For the best and fairest offers and prices - NOBODY beats PC! I would never consider going anywhere else and recommend them very highly.

I have done business with GC Pawn for several years now. Rich and all the guys are just great. They worked with me several times when I was in the hospital and were both kind and compassionate. Very rare these days. I know my valued possessions are in good hands when I need a short term loan. When I first pawned some jewelry at this store for an unexpected car problem that I had, it was early evening and starting to get dark.One of the staff actually walked me to my car since I was carrying several hundred dollars, so I would be safe. I really appreciated that and I wont ever forget. Thank you Nina

Most Pawn shops out there are seen as swindlers and scammers, however, at GC, the employees are not only honest but have such extensive knowledge on the products they are selling and/or taking in as a pawn sale/loan. Warren is excellent in that he did not rush me and was willing to negotiate prices without making me feel ripped off. I appreciate doing business here as the expertise provided is beyond amazing!!! Prices are very reasonable! Forget the "big box" places, this is where you should do your holiday shopping!! Thanks to the staff at GC, I will definitely be back soon!!!

I recently purchased a Nikon D90 from Gold N Connections Margate store and got more than I expected. Not only are the store and merchandise clean, but the staff shows that they truly care about the business by how well they work with customers to ensure fair and happy transactions. This camera kit was only $499 on their website (and in store) whereas the best price Id found on eBay for the body alone was $540. I didnt have to pay shipping either! Ive bookmarked about 8 other camera items on their site to buy in the coming weeks.

Over all it was a good experience coming here, they even buy silver so i always left with cash in my pocket when needed, John is a good worker, hes been there for a while now but great lil pawn store, probably the only one i will go to living in margate.

Its the worst place to get a loan and interest is too high and they charge late fees for everything go to value pawn I have lost my items at gnc. Value pawn does not do that if anything they help VALUE PAWN IS NUMBER 1

Guys are amazing they help me out a lot and I left my wallet in there with a bunch of money and the worker chased me down to give me my wallet. Not a lot of stores in general would do that. Very, very cool people.
